Boy, you're a tough critic. Yeh, there was defensive errors but at the same time it was great moves and shot by Di maria. I agree with Adit, I been down on Di maria, but when he plays futbol he is very good. Note he has stopped the predicable first dribble always to the left.

Played extremely well imo. Out of all our players Angelito is the only one who can score an absolute wonder goal out of nothing. I've said this before and I'm still convinced that this is the case.

I think di maria is consistent, he's consistently taking huge risks other player rarely takes when makes a move,sometimes it doesn't work (and people would call him made a terrible decision), sometimes it works and it would be a wonder move.
It didn't work too well in about the first 10 games he played this season but it worked very well in recent games.
The way he plays is consistent, the output isn't because of the huge risk involved, which is why he seems like the only one who's capable of make something wonder out of nothing and also mess something for nothing (if it doesn't work)

On a serious note Di Maria will be crucial to the clasico like every other clasico this calendar year. Remember him in the Super Copa? The Copa Del Rey? Even the CL games and the home league game?

Yes he was one of the reasons why we managed to defend so well, helped assist a few goals, helped pressure them and kept on running and running all those games. Exactly what we need. Many of us have different reasons to dislike him during certain moments but we all know we need him for the clasico.

Except the non stop running, he wasn't that good vs barca at super copa & home league game though, but he's very important of course and jose agrees. He's a sure starter for barca game, jose even started him at super copa even though at that time he's still rusty due to lack of pre season.

Benzema got good pass from Di Maria before he assisted Ozil.
But I still stand by my point, Di Maria wasn't that good in that game, mainly because still a bit rusty.

Excellent player; dislike him intensely. That is basically my feelings towards him.

di maria is a brilliant player and can only get better, that why i feel getting nerman or hazard makes no sense cause di maria will bench them, we has madrid fans take every player for granted cause we can get almost any player we want, even if it means discarding couple gems in the process di maria is definitely a gem

if only our front forwards could pressure the ball as good as him, he would be able to attack more in clasicos and other big games, its a pity really him having to defend when actually he could do both if the others actually pressed properly....oh well
