Who do u think is the best striker btw these 2.

I am not asking about who achieved more because its obviously Villa as Rooney is lot younger than Villa.Neither am i asking who is the better striker at the moment as Rooney is obviously near his peak.

I was about who is the more complete striker.Both are completely capable of playing out wide or as a pure no 9 or even as a SS.

So who would u think is the more complete striker?

Villa is actually far better.One of the best strikers in last decade.

Let's see score 20+ league goals a season(While Rooney has only done it once) plus a bundle of assists aswell since he started his career most of it while not playing for the big 2, because La Liga is competitive if you dont play for Madrid or Barca.....

Rooney is in much better form atm, but Villa has proven so much more at club level and international level....

I love Rooney but as with the Villa Benz comparisons, these kids are 6 seasons to early to be copared to the likes of Villa and Eto. Villa has been scoring 20+ goals a season for more than half a decade has been intergral in Spains revolution. Rooney is a great player, but it is too early to be making these comparisins. I hope Rooney reaches Villas level of consistency and performance. He had a poor season last seasoon and scored 20+ goals. That says enough about Villa tbh.

tell me...bar internationals, (im sorry but if rooney played for spain, they still would have won the world cup/euro). now tell me bar internationals, what has villa done more then rooney? im not saying villa is not better, but i dont like the way you are dismissing rooney thats all, as if rooney is some piece of shit striker. i like villa ALOT, i just want to know why you think rooney cant at least be compared to him?

Rooney is better than Villa. Villa was better in his Valencia days in my opinion, and is now on a serious decline in my opinion. Even in Valencia though, it would be really close. Rooney is a beast.

villa is the complete striker.. his finishing is excellent, his passing is good, link up play, technique , delivers in the big matches, the news that madrid were going to sign villa in 09( which we didnt) excited me as much as the ronaldo signing did or even more because i genuinely believe bar last season he has been the best striker in the world for some time , and even after a not outstanding season individually he is a top striker..
