Are we talking personal achievements or team achievements? Because to me, when you're comparing players, you look at the personal side first and then the team. Barca has been the best team in the world the past 5 years so of course Pedro has won more trophies...

But Benzema has achieved a heck of a lot more personally than Pedro has. It's not eve close there. Not to mention that Benz is clearly the more talented and better player.

No slight on Pedro, whom i like a lot. But he's a specialist; not a superstar. Benz is on the verge of superstardom.

I go with Benz too.
Pedro has certain qualities that make him really useful from a tactical standpoint but on the other hand Benz can be a difference maker.

Not really sure that Benz can get so much better as many posters suggest here but I still like him more than Pedro.
As for who I’d rather have in my team it would depend on whether I’d choose a “soldier” or a “wizard”. I think everyone gets what I’m saying.

He hasn't even began to flourish. If stupid Ronaldo would stop taking 20 shots a game , he would have scored 40 goals last season,probably.He isnt that great of a finisher , but the amount of chances he makes for himself with his movement and link up play is insane.

He's 23. Already has made a big leap just in terms of work rate and defense over the last 12 months. Still needs to get back the finishing violence with which he played at Lyon. He's getting there with the France NT slowly because he's given that freedom to express himself. With Madrid, CR7 monopolizes too much real estate and Mou wants Benz to play more inside the box as opposed to around it... but he's getting a bit more freedom there too.

As far as efficiency, he was at 22% last year, which was 2nd in La Liga behind Messi and 3rd in Europe behind Messi and Gomez with players that scored at least 25 goals in the season. So i think he's plenty efficient.

He's also just learning to become a lethal poacher. He does it at times... but not consistently enough yet.

There's a lot left in his ceiling. Will he max it out? Who knows. It takes health, motivation and opportunity. But he's 23 and has enough time to get there.

Benzema by a mile.

Id compare Pedro with Bojan... both started out really good but then regressed(in Pedro's case "injury") maybe Pedro will join him in Roma who knows

u guys are just being biased towards madrid the comparision was really close last year...lets compare:
pedro:22 goals and 10 assists +scoring vs real madrid twiceand scoring in the cl final vs united,playing as a winger,
benzema:26 goals and 9 assists and didnt score in big games....

The point is Benzema wasn't in his best form and Pedro was in his best form. you should look at players talent not only the form at that moment.

It’s only natural comparing most recent achievements.

you do know last year for the first half of the season Benz was the same Benz from the season before that???

imagine if he'd been as goon in the first half the season as he was in the second

Pedro last season was on Villas level in terms of being pathetic(both had a decent first half)... where the comparison emerged from is mindboggling

Kaka's prime was 4 years ago and he is struggling since then. Kaka vs Iniesta atm is very different to Pedro vs benzema 1 year ago.
