Bambini Della Juventus 'Primavera Thread'
How about we have a thread where we can post news , results , fixtures or links related to the primavera ? I think it's great that we keep a strong interest in the juventini del futuro
To kick things off. Our primavera beat Milan 4-2 today thanks to braces from GU. Appelt and Matteo Liviero
It's seems the appelt brothers have started very well In Turin!

Re: Bambini Della Juventus 'Primavera Thread'
Arriving earlier than planned, a new installment of our regular Settore Giovanile series comes after a very busy week for the youth teams. A raft of pre-season tournaments and the transfer window closing has meant a number of key debuts and some new arrivals to reinforce the squads, testament of the club’s commitment
to continuously improve the sector after seasons of neglect.
The Giovanissimi Nazionali (Under 15s) are taking part in the 20th edition of the Gaetano Scirea di Cinisello Balsamo Memorial and recorded victories against Lecco, Varese and Milan as well as a draw with Ajax. Those results meant they qualified for the Final where they faced Inter Milan, conceding three late goals to lose 3-0. They now return to Vinovo to host the 5th edition of the “Ale&Ricky Sempre Nel Cuore“, a tournament dedicated to the memory of Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri. Torino, Fiorentina, Milan, Atletico Mirafiori, Castelfiorentino, Pinerolo and Ivrea have accepted invitations to play.
Fabrizio Del Rosso‘s Allievi Nazionali (Under 17s) missed out on a Semi-final place of their own after a 1-0 loss against Slavia Prague at the 54th edition of the Carlin’s Boys tournament. This came after Wednesday’s 5-0 rout of hosts Ventimiglia with goals from Giuseppe Ponsat, Edoardo Ceria, Matteo Gerbaudo and two from Fabio Coviello making it a very straight-forward match. The Czech side top the group and move on, while the Juve boys head home.
As discussed in the last episode, the Primavera have once again entered the Tirreno e Sport tournament and played all three of their group matches this week. They have been eliminated but this pre-season trophy is always about preparation rather than competition; Marco Baroni’s side made some very good progress with three tough and very different games.
The Primavera boys began Tuesday with a thrilling (if ultimately disappointing) 3-3 draw with Lazio. It was the weeks most hard-fought game as two members of the Biancocelesti were sent off in the second half. The match was intense right from kick-off, seeing three goals in the first 16 minutes. Elio De Silvestro netted for Juve only to see Lazio scored twice before Giuseppe Ruggiero restored parity just before half-time. The very impressive Stefano Beltrame gave the Bianconeri the lead once more only to concede a poor last minute equaliser.
------starting line up vs Lazio-----
------------Brănescu
Carfora, Guano, Di Dio, Liviero
---Corticchia------ Chisbah
Ruggiero(78’ Lanini), Spinazzola(44’ Libertazzi), Beltrame, De Silvestro
Wednesday saw Juventus face Brazilian side Botafogo – who comfortably beat AC Milan in their own opening match – in a match that was played at an extremely high level. Raman Chibsah earned a red card only hours after being confirmed as a new signing as Fabio Paratici agreed a deal with Serie B side Sassuolo. The Ghanaian midfielder has been at the club almost a month, having taken part in the Villar Perosa friendly against the first squad. Gabriel Appelt scored his first goal and the Bianconeri almost earned a draw only to concede another late goal that saw Botafogo win 2-1.
Starting lineup vs. BOTAFOGO
-----------Brănescu
Carfora, Guano, Garcia, Belfasti
Schiavone (46′ Chibsah), Gui.Appelt
Spinazzola, Gab.Appelt(51′ Beltrame), De Silvestro(42′ Ruggiero), Libertazzi
Despite those first two results meaning the club had no chance of qualifying as they went into Thursday’s match against AC Milan, it would be another opportunity for the team to be tested. Baroni’s side made short work of the Rossoneri, leading 3-0 at half-time before the coach made a number of changes, weakening the side but doing enough to hold for a 4-3 win.
The goals scored were shared between Guilherme Appelt and, more surprisingly, Matteo Liviero who both scored twice in an impressive team display. Nevertheless, the final of the tournament will feature Lazio against Napoli Saturda, after both teams topped their respective groups.
Lineup vs. AC MILAN
-----Brănescu
Carfora(59′ P.Garcia), Gouano, Di Dio, Belfasti
Corticchia, Gab.Appelt
Ruggiero, Gu.Appelt, Lanini, C.Garcia (45′Liviero)
On the transfer side and unlike the Senior Team, the youth sector saw further departures from a number of its older players, very much in-keeping with the strategy seen this summer. You may find the full list further down below.
Joining those like Ciro Immobile – who has been very impressive at Zdenek Zeman’s Pescara – out on loan are nephew Filippo Boniperti and Carlo Ilari. The two 1991 born players have been sent to Ascoli, who have co-ownership options on both players which should ensure they see a good level of playing time.
Valenzana, in the Lega Pro Second Division, have loaned right-back Riccardo Enrico (20 years old) for the season after the player returned from a similar spell at Serie D side Gallaratese, where he made 30 appearances and scored two goals. Goalkeeper Gianluca Di Salvia (18 yrs) has joined Pisa in Lega Pro after finding very little room at any level at Juventus.
There has of course been new arrivals over the last few days, with the club making two impressive captures in addition to the previously mentioned Chibsah. Zoran Josipovic (16 yrs) has been purchased outright from Chiasso and is a very promising Swiss striker who has represented his country at both U-16 and U-17 levels recently.
Simon Sluga (18 yrs) – previously of HNK Rijeka in his native Croatia – also joined the Bianconeri after the deal stalled over registration issues. The highly regarded goalkeeper, who has already been called up his National teams Under-21 side, was still a non-EU until his passport situation was resolved.

Re: Bambini Della Juventus 'Primavera Thread'
While the main focus of attention this past weekend was quite rightly the new stadium and its first official game against Parma, Vinovo was hosting no less an important event to those close to Juventus. As well as being the training facility it where the Youth Sector play their home games and last weekend the 5th edition of the ‘Ale&Ricky Sempre nel Cuore’ tournament took place over the two days as eight Giovanissimi (U-15) sides competed.
Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri, two youngsters who were part of the club’s youth sector and tragically passed away on December 15 2006. With one group comprised group of amateur teams (Atletico Mirafiori, Castelfiorentino, Pinerolo and Ivrea), Juve’s Giovanissimi Nazionali side were drawn against fellow professional clubs Torino, Fiorentina and Milan.
With the Ferramosca and Neri families looking on, Claudio Gabetta’s side faced Milan first on Saturday morning and narrowly lost 2-1 in an evenly matched encounter. After a few hours rest they returned to the field to take on Fiorentina, only to lose by the same scoreline. Those results, combined with the others on the first day, meant Sunday morning’s derby against Torino was, in terms of the competition, meaningless.
Juve’s city rivals would win 1-0 before going on to beat Ivrea 5-0 in the final, as Milan overcame Pinerolo to take 3rd place. Beppe Marotta, Aldo Mazzia, Giovanni Rossi, Gianluca Pessotto, Antonio Conte and Luca Marrone – a competitor in the inaugural tournament five years ago – attended the later games as well as presenting the trophy and various other awards.
Meanwhile this past weekend, the Primavera side were finally in competitive action, taking on one of last season’s best teams, Fiorentina. La Viola hosted Marco Baroni’s men fresh from their recent Supercoppa triumph over Roma. They would prove too strong for the Bianconeri in the season opener, with striker Khouma Babacar trampling all over the Bianconeri central defence.
Primavera XI
Branescu
Carfora, Chibsah, Rubin, Liviero
Spinazzola, Corticchia, Ruggiero, Di Dio
Libertazzi, De Silvestro
The Senegalese 18 year-old scored the only goal of the game from a 13th minute free-kick and although Matteo Liviero and Francesco Margiotta had good chances to equalise, the season debut would end in defeat. Next week sees Modena visit Turin, and Baroni’s side will look to earn their first points of the year

Re: Bambini Della Juventus 'Primavera Thread'
Juventus Primavera continued their good form against neighbours Torino with a 3-1 win in Venaria. Strikes from Ruggerio, Libertazzi and a Sampò own goal sealed victory, as the young Bianconeri maintained their unbeaten derby streak that stretches back to 2006. But Marco Baroni’s side were made to work for the victory, having to come from a goal behind after Pagano had put the hosts in front.
A feisty opening period saw neither side able to fashion any clear-cut opportunities, with the first ten minutes contested at a typically frantic derby pace.
The best chance of the opening period fell to Libertazzi in the 10th minute. Juve’s captain found himself in a perfect position to convert an inviting cross from the right-hand side, but the striker failed to hit the target with a close-range header.
However, it was Torino who seized the initiative seven minutes later. Pagano was quick to react to Pinelli’s strike that bounced back off Branescu’s upright and tucked the ball past the Romanian goalkeeper.
The early goal appeared to spark the Bianconeri into life, and Baroni’s side went close to restoring parity through Margiotta and Schiavone. Moments later, the chance fell to Ruggerio to bring the Bianconeri level, and the young winger made no mistake on 28 minutes.
As the first half wore on, Chibsah continued to impress in the centre of midfield, stamping his authority on the game with a selection of timely interventions and strong tackles.
Juventus emerged full of confidence after the break and continued to take the game to their opponents. Libertazzi was instrumental in the comeback, which was completed ten minutes after the restart. The striker’s left-footed shot was blocked by Gomis, but the rebound cannoned off Sampò and crossed the line.
A two-goal cushion was established a couple of minutes later. Margiotta drove at the heart of Torino’s defence and found his run brought to an abrupt conclusion in the area. The referee had no hesitation in awarding a penalty, with Libertazzi keeping his cool to send Gomis the wrong way from the spot.
But the Bianconeri had to remain alert, as Pinelli showed strength in the penalty area and rolled a shot agonisingly wide of Brancescu’s right-hand post. Shortly afterwards, it was Pinelli again who wasted a glorious opportunity as he bore down on goal but failed to guide his attempt on target.
Despite Torino upping the pressure as they went in search of a way back into the game, Juventus comfortably saw out the remaining twenty minutes to clinch a morale-boosting result. The win sees Marco Baroni’s side extend their winning run to four consecutive games and strengthen their grip at the top of their championship.
