It's only fullback. Any decent player can do well there. Much improvement over Gibbs or Traore.

Now we need a(some) really class player(s) in midfield.

I think he's one of the best attacking fullbacks around so he'll improve them offensively but they still obviously need a centre half.

I should point out that this is coming from Turkish news sources. Nothing from England and certainly nothing official from the club just yet.

Also it's just an agreed fee. Still got personal terms and medical to sort out, presumably.

We also apparently bid for Mario Götze, but Dortmund want €35,000,000 so that one is not happening.

6.5/10...

He gives a lot of assists,great link up play,good dribbler,deadly left foot,but is really inconsistent defensively,he bossed Robben,but then got destroyed by Schewineienienienetiger for example.

I think hell fit for you guys though.

I dont care if we sign Hakan balta at this point but Andre santos is A HUGE plus on Traore and Gibbs

Gibbs will be an excellent LB one day but too injury prone atm.

So, is what we saw in la Copa America pretty much his top level? Decent player, nothing special?
