Great to see Sepi talking sense yet again. A few weeks ago Dzeko was pure shite now he's the best thing since we discovered what wanking was.

Torres is a player that relies on service and he isn't getting it atm. His goalscoring record has been very poor since he's moved here but so has all our other strikers. I think it's mainly down to our teams playing style which AVB is trying to change eg. Mata, Modric etc.

After Mata came on, he didnt do any Hollywood stepovers or nutmegs but still created a lot of stir in the final third. A simple give and go, a simple one two and getting into spaces is all that is required to baffle defenses like Norwich, West Brom and Arsenal. I dont understand why our players, especially Malouda, Anelka and Kalou just cant keep it simple. Its simple enough.

Put Torres in the current City, United or Liverpool teams and the posts in this thread would have been different. Having said that part of his poor form is due to him being ridiculously low on confidence, I don't think he has the Ronaldo like mentality( when he first moved to Madrid )to be able to carry the burden of such a massive fee over his head.

I'd like to wait a fee weeks before making my judgement on him again. Him playing alongside Sturridge, Mata and with a (hopefully) in-form Lampard and newly acquired Modric behind him would definitely help him regain his 06-10 form again.

carrol adds lots of dimensions to LFCs play, he just needs to score a couple of goals and he'll be taking the EPL by storm

True he will come good he is too good a player to have a permanent slump.Once the team is build around him he will start scoring goals.But dont think he will be back to his 2008-09 form.He lost a yard of pace due to these injuries imo.
