I can unerstand it's complicated because the best way to know is to use them or hear them.

But I have the same problem in German than you have in French. ( German is more complicated der, dem, den, des...)

Ya, I used to remember that if the word ends in e its usually feminine, but then I'd forget which of the un/une, le/la etc. was feminine and which was masculine.

"Un" is masculine and "une" feminine.

The "e" thing can be the mark of the feminine but not always. On adjectives it is usually that => fort, forte. You see the difference by adding a e.

But a masculine name can perfectly finish by a "e" like "un homme".

Que pasa aquí? Habrá que poner orden. Desafortunadamente no tenemos el privilegio de un foro multilingüe, algo que quizás sea útil.

(We could use a multi-language forum due to the large ammount of nationalities we have here).

We could use one thread for multi-language fun IMO. A full forum for each language didn't really work at goal.com either. In the end, everything important to discuss will be in English as lingua franca

Dont forget us from the 'Random other tiny insignificant countries' here!

it would be difficult to expand after a certain limit.
we can get about 700 users using the old goal.com family thing.
it would take a lot more to create new followers .just take a gang create accounts and raid people.although i doubt the new users would not feel the family thing and would purely judge this forum on merit,appearence,and other cool stuff which we seem to lack.

I've always found it fascinating how different languages have different sentence structures O.O

It sounds like somthing along the lines of (I'm translating the what would be the German sentence structure) il n'y a rien je que fait pouvoir. (when it should be il n'y a rien que je le peux faire right? - or is it puisse le faire?)

"Mein Deutsch is sehr schlecht und es gibt nichts das ich dafür/dagegen machen kann." I just realized I honestly wouldn't know what is the correct word to use O.o I would go for dafür because it sounds more apologetic than dagegen which would sound like an excuse.

A slightly more natural version would be "Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, aber im Augenblick kann ich da leider nichts machen." or "...aber leider kann ich in der Hinsicht nichts unternehmen."
