Idk about the Willan swap thing , i mean he is good and everything BUT if we sign him then when the hell we will ever see Lansbury play !?!?
So we will have ( Song , Wilshere , Willan , Diaby , Cesc , Ramsey And Lansbury )
And i don't wanna see Lansubry out on loan again or even just a CC player

Having been beaten to the £16million signing of Blackburn’s Phil Jones by United and seen Jordan Henderson make a big-money move to Liverpool, Wenger is determined to make his mark in the transfer market.
The Daily Express understands enquiries have been made for Bolton and Blackburn defenders Gary Cahill and Chris Samba, and Lille duo Gervinho and Eden Hazard. Wenger is also bidding to beat United to Southampton kids Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Luke Shaw.
It is not thought Wenger expects to sign all of his targets, but the Arsenal boss is anxious not to get left behind by his rivals. England defender Cahill has a £17m release clause in his Bolton contract and the fee has not put Arsenal off his trail, but they know they could face competition for him from Manchester City.
Similarly, City are also thought to be looking at Gervinho, while a host of Europe’s biggest clubs have been alerted to the talents of Hazard.

I have high doubts about most of this happening. He won't buy two centre backs and out of Samba and Cahill, he'll go for Samba because he's cheaper.
Gervinho will probably come in, but not Hazard. Lille won't sell both unless they receive a significant offer for Hazard; their asking price has probably gone higher with the inevitable departure of Gervinho.

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Arsenal have finally made positive moves in the transfer market by signing Lille forward Gervinho.
It has been a day of doom and gloom for Arsenal fans, who have had to endure reports that Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy could all be on their way out of the Emirates.
However, a silver lining has shown up, according to talkSPORT, who report that the Gunners have managed to fight off strong interest from Liverpool and Newcastle to sign the Ivorian, and the 24-year-old is likely to sign on the dotted line in the next few days.
Manchester United and Liverpool have been hogging the headlines of late with their signings of Phil Jones and Jordan Henderson, but Arsenal feel positive that, with the addition of Gervinho and Charlton defender Carl Jenkinson, Arsene Wenger could well persuade his squad that they can contend for the Premier League this season.
The Frenchman will now turn his attention to Blackburn captain Chris Samba and Bolton defender Gary Cahill as he looks to bolster his defensive line.
The question is, is it too little, too late?
According to reports in the Independent, both Manchester United and Nasri's representatives have already met up in Manchester on Thursday. Arsenal fans will certainly hope that the signing of Gervinho can change the Frenchman's possible fear that there is no silverware to be gained at the Emirates.

The Gunners chief has sent his scouts to see the England Under-16 international in action, and it is believed that they have been highly impressed with the young starlet, whose style of play mirrors that of former Saints player Gareth Bale.
The People suggest that Arsenal are currently front-runner for the left-back’s signature and that the North London club maybe tempted to make a move for the England youth star during the summer transfer window.
Shaw has made over 20 appearances for the Saints Under-18 side this season.

Sooo THAT is who Luke Shaw is!! Okay.. 16 year old LB? Hmmm.. grab 'em young.. Then does it mean Gibbs plays LB for a few years after Clichy moves on and then we promote this guy? Hmmm..

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
So a round-up of today then:
Arsenal are negotiating a fee with Lille for Gervinho. BBC claim that Arsenal find Lille's valuation too high, while TalkSport claim both clubs have agreed a £10,000,000 fee.
To be frank, I don't find TalkShite to be a very reliable source for anything. So it looks like this one will rumble on for a little while longer.
Else where, Arsenal are apparently in advanced negotiations with Shakhtar Donetsk over a potential Denilson + cash swap for Willian. Personally, I like the sound of this deal as it kills two birds with one stone: we get rid of Denilson and bring in a talented player for very little. If this one goes through, it'll be a steal.
And hey, Denilson can also win the trophies he wants: the Ukranian First Division.
Closer to home now and Arsenal have apparently agreed a fee for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. He'll join on July 1st, supposedly. We've also been linked with 16-year old left back Luke Shaw. Never heard of him.
Perhaps we should consider making Southampton one of our feeder clubs?

I doubt they'd go for it. They're making too much money off of us and other teams from how its going so far.
Bale, Chamberlain and Walcott are three excellent prospects though

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I'm not just saying this, but I called this shit a while back. Clichy has apparently rejected 2 contract offer from Arsenal. It would be intriguing to find out how much Pool are offereing him...
Nasri is off. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't owe Arsenal or Wenger anything. As "talented" as he is, all he's had is a decent purple patch in 3 seasons. AW and the board must take full responsibility for letting his contract rundown so soon.
Cesc, will definitely leave too. Its a case of Barcelona making an offer we can't refuse. £35+Thiago and Bojan would do it. However, Bojan seems keen on Roma (haking of Luis Enrique's nuts) now or staying in Spain. And let's be honest, Thiago has absolutely no interest in coming to Arsenal. Let alone the epl. However, if he did join us, then I reckon that kid could well go onto to emulate Cesc. Thus, nothing less than £45m shouldn't be expected from Barcelona for Cesc.

Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Willihand isn't a bad player. Nor do I think anyone had him in their top 10 shortlist. But the fact that we're getting rid of Dean, makes that little bit better. He'll now be able to join the Brazilian B team and continue to pwn Dynamo Kyiv. With the imminent arrival of Willihand, I think its fair to say that He'll be taking the place of either Nasri or Rosicky.
Gervinho is another, meh, singning. I don't recall him being on anyone top 10 either up on till we were linked with him. From what I've seen, he's a decent player and an addition nonetheless. Maybe he is in fact the replacement of Nasri???!!
Cahill @ 17m is OTT. But we need a rugged english centre half to toughen us up a bit. Now I say we go out and by a forward!

I would love that kid @ Arsenal. He is sooo underrated. I also like the fact that he SHOOTS when he cuts in from the right hand side. He's raped us a couple of time too

Rumour that Wigan have accepted 2 bids for Charles N'Zogbia, believed to be Everton + Arsenal. The player has confirmed he is heading to ldn
Re: The 2011 Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I'll stick my neck out now and say that if we sign N'Zogbia, there'll be talk of him getting Arsenal's player of the year. He carried Wigan on many occasions last season and chipped in with a fair few goal. His ability to strike the ball cutting in from the right can open many opportunities for us. N'Zogbia FTW!!!

We don't need him? Eeven if Nasri leaves, we'll have Gervinho as his replacement, and I don't think Wenger will let both Arshavin and Nasri go in the same window.
I don't understand the love for all these wingers. We need some defensive minded players or a striker.

Not using proper wingers then suddenly bringing them back into the fold may be a hint that we are considering new systems of play...

Are we seriously going to forget how inconsistent N'zogbia has been just because he showed up in the last few games for Wigan? He was nowhere to be seen at the start of the season and only pulled up a few good performances. Pretty much like Nasri, but on a lower scale
