Re: Nasri to City Official
If Arsenal does not spend 90% of the 60 million, i'm personally going to stop watching the games until i hear that the board is serious about trying to win... no point in putting more monies in their pockets.

Clichy, the Toures, Adebayor, Kompany, Barry, Lescott, Dzeko, Santa Cruz, De Jong, Silva, Richards, for a while Given and Vieira, and now Nasri. What do these players all have in common? At one point or another, us Arsenal fans were crying out for Wenger to sign them or try to keep them on our team. We were also linked with the likes of Balotelli, Milner, Johnson, Onuoha, and even Joe Hart for a while. Man City are now one step closer to becoming the team we have wanted Arsene to make ours for years now. They have done it without principles, and only were able to do it because of absurd amounts of money, but it is still extremely frustrating.
The fact that they've already won an FA Cup is a slap right in the face of our principles as a club. The fact that we are probably going to finish beneath them this season unless we sign some gems just disgusts me. Everything just feels broken right now.

Ya well, im sure you know what happened to leeds united. Spent too much money and screwed there own future, ok they got more present gains, but 10-15 years down the line, if this owner is forced to sell city or doesnt care for them any more which is entirely posssible, they are screwed for a long time.

The irony of it is that 30% goes into the club whilst 70% is used on player purchases and first year salaries.

Re: Nasri to City Official
nasri is ass for not staying in arsenal but its even shocking that both wenger and board is doing absolutely nothing about it. especially board.. and stakeholders...
arsenal fans have every reason to get pissed off about it, and get proper statement from board themselves.
its as if arsenal fans have been duped, and deprived..
this will further unsettle van persie... arsenal needs to go and buy stars

Oh happy.. That we dont have to listen to this speculation anymore.. And u give me Nasri and £23m for a season i would take £23m...
No use in thinking now.. But my mind still asks if this could have been done long back.. We could have bought Mata.. Now we see him play against us..

i wouldn't rule Mata out yet, he still hasn't had his medical..... Ramsey was but gone to Man Utd and arsenal came over the top at the last minute.
If we can hold on tonight maybe Arsene will throw 25mill at Valencia for him

Wenger will never battle the big money spenders, Chelsea want Mata and will smash any Arsenal bid. If Arsenal were serious they would have signed him when they had the chance no way they will pay double the money now.

Re: Nasri to City Official
What an asshole, the fact that he's algerian and I still think he's an asshole should make it clear hes a total douche.
He could have gone to man united at least, but he went there (man *hitty) for money. I'm really disappointed, he was like my idol. Despite him being a douche, I'll still support him, he is my fellow countryman..

Re: Nasri to City Official
Manchester City are anxiously trying to ascertain the seriousness of Samir Nasri's condition after learning that their new £24m signing has broken a bone in his hand.
Nasri suffered the injury while on international duty with France, although it is unclear at this point precisely what happened. The former Arsenal player was introduced as a 75th-minute substitute in the 0-0 draw in Romania and finished the match with no apparent problems.
The early reports are of it possibly being a broken finger but City will know more when Nasri reports to the club later on Wednesday.
Nasri made his City debut in the 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane two weekends ago but the concern for his new club now is that he will be unable to make his first appearance at Eastlands against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Trust me you wont be seeing Nasri play his heart out anymore, he signed a contract and he is set for life.
