The Verminator wrote:Although the amount of times that a Barce player would just kick the ball away on purpose after a foul was just absurd. I've said this before and i'll say it again. How RVP got a yellow for kicking the ball a sec after the whistle - while he didn't even know it was the ref's whistle - and Barce intentionally kicking the ball away after every foul and not gettin punished is just crazy.
Guess Barca players kicking it lightly a few feet after the whistle (which is something EVERY team does, surprised people never noticed) compared to RVP blasting in to the crowd as hard as he could is the same thing? I think the fact RVP got a yellow is stupid, but he kicked the ball in to the crowd vs Barca kicking it a foot or 2 is not the same thing.

The ball boys stopped giving balls to players at throw ins and corners, players had to run and get them. At one point one ball boy even threw a ball into the field during play to get the ref to blow it off. Messi, Villa and co kicked away the ball when they were blew up for fouls or offside at every opportunity so Madrid couldn't take fast free kicks. With no repercussion. Every single physical battle ended with a Barcelona player staying down for a injury for atleast 1 minute. Best example was Pedro who also refused to go off the pitch when the ref instructed him to (even thou he "had" a hand injury and thus were very capable of walking).
In total, about 10-15 minutes were wasted. Result? 4 minutes of added time.
dude, you and i both know they specialized in doing the slickest anti play strategies, from diving, faking things and what you described, it goes around. That's the thing, they exaggerate those little things and do anything to get an advantage.

You, being a real madrid fan, should not speak having this murderer on the pitch who was also the player who dived the most in this clasico...

Re: It's All THEIR Fault! (El Clasico edition)
People often use shots at goal or on goal as a yard stick to how a team feared. However, when it comes to Madrid those stats are seriously skewed. CR7 and to an extent Benzema were shooting from any and everywhere. Out of all those shots Madrid had over 2 legs, only a handful of them were from dangerous positions. Any clown can shoot to goal from 15 feet away from the corner flag. Sure it'll show up in the stats, but guess what? The ball always had 0% chance of finding the back of the net.
Try comparing the quality of shots before comparing the quantity between both sides.

Re: It's All THEIR Fault! (El Clasico edition)
so sick and tired of all those stupid and silly barca and madrid fans bashing each other!!, why don't they take that crap to their own forums???, 90% of the threads in the general forum are either about madrid, barca, mourinho or fabregas, am i the only one who finds this very annoying???
either you take these threads to you own forums or you just make another section called barca vs madrid or something!, what the hell do the mods do around here????

I remember in the 2-0 win in the CL semi-final last season, when every real madrid fans or "neatrul" fans(that danish laudrup fan) said that real madrid were just as attacking as barca because they had equaled/close to shot as barca did but when I showed them from where every shot from real madrid came from with the help of that CL app they said nothing..

Why are Barca fans so arrogant?
Non of you are from Barca. Non of you are Catalans. Non of you step foot near the pitch.
You would think you were playing ffs.
You are fans. Why do you think you're big because you SUPPORT a great team?
Supporting a winner is easy. Supporting a loser displays loyalty.

You didn't prove anything. You refer to one example in a YouTube video where Marcelo is given the ball by someone who doesn't even appear to be a ball-boy - after Marcelo had been calling for the ball for quite a while.harhar11 wrote:Doc wrote:The ball boy stunt was very Osasuna like..

Re: It's All THEIR Fault! (El Clasico edition)
BarrileteCosmico wrote:Marcelo’s angry foul on Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas, which marred the end of Wednesday’s Spanish Supercup final, was an unnecessary attack given it occurred moments before the whistle in a game his team was about to lose. But it was also the latest black mark on a Real Madrid team that, under Jose Mourinho, has become known more for its indefensible outbursts and its postgame complaining than it has for its sometimes unbeatable play.
Fabregas let Marcelo off the hook for his takedown, attributing it to the fevered nature of the rivalry. (He
no doubt would have been less forgiving if the tackle had snapped his leg, which it could have.) But his teammates were furious.
“Real Madrid should be concerned about the image it is giving; it’s very damaging,” Barcelona midfielder Xavi said. “Marcelo’s tackle has no place in football. Totally shameless, a real shame for football in general this image generated by Real Madrid.”
Defender Gerard Pique placed the blame squarely at the feet of Mourinho.“Mourinho is destroying Spanish football,” Pique said. “It’s not the first time and it’s always a number of players and the same ones, so there has to be some way of stopping them. I hope they adopt the necessary sanctions.”
Is it embarrassment, or jealousy, or something else that drives Mourinho and his players to lash out? Real Madrid has played seven games against Barcelona since last November. It has won only one of those games, but has managed to have a player sent off in five. That, apparently, is an even trade for Mourinho. “I won’t say we’re not happy about not winning the Supercup because that would make me a hypocrite,” he said, before adding, “but I’m very happy with the evolution of the team.”
Rather than credit Barcelona’s play over the last year, Mourinho has attributed its success to a mysterious bias from referees and UEFA in favor of Barcelona, comments that earned him a five-match suspension. Marcelo’s foul was tougher to explain away. (He was lucky to still be in the game after an earlier kick to the ribs that dropped Lionel Messi.) Real Madrid’s fans contend argue correctly Barcelona’s players dive to earn calls, a dubious charge from a club that employs Cristiano Ronaldo, but eventually Sergio Ramos’s temper and Pepe’s recklessness circle back to the coach’s leadership. And Mourinho has shown precious little in the last year.
He was sent off in one of Real Madrid’s spring games against Barcelona for sarcastic comments to an official on the sideline; briefly stopped speaking with the news media in a fit of pique; and on Wednesday set a new low when he snuck up behind the Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova during the late-game fracas and reached around to poke him in the eye from behind before backpedaling. “The images speak for themselves,” Barcelona Manager Pep Guardiola said. “If this doesn’t stop, it’s going to end badly.”
Corner kick:
It almost seems surprising that Spain has ever won anything, let alone last summer’s World Cup, given the way the core of its team acts toward one another when they are wearing their club colors.
Because your tackle previously in the game wasn't much worse than Marcelos! lol.

I'm very interested in what most neutrals think about all of this. I personally couldn't believe some of the calls that went against Madrid over the course of the game. Not justifying the tackle.
