B teams vs Reserve sides
I want to ask you guys which system of Reserve sides is the better system for the league and for the country?
In Spain and Germany for example the B teams play in the same system pyramid( though not allowed to be in the same level) which allows them to move up and down the pyramid based on their talents. The Epl way in which their is a reserve league separate from main teams or in Italy where their is just youth and senior football? ( not too sure on how each countries league work so sorry if made a mistake?)
PS: I believe Spain and Germany's way to be more effective

the most effect for the leagues international team maybe but not for the league itself. in the epl we care about the lower leagues, that's why promotion to the premier league is the most richest price in football. we can't insult them by playing premier league b teams in the same league. every b team in the epl would get roasted in the championship anyway. the championship is a big business league not a joke.

If the players are good enough to play why not? only the teams that are good enough to make it into the championship will play in it, if none makes it, nothing happens, they will start at the lower end of they pyramid and work there up.RedEyesWhiteBeard wrote:the most effect for the leagues international team maybe but not for the league itself. in the epl we care about the lower leagues, that's why promotion to the premier league is the most richest price in football. we can't insult them by playing premier league b teams in the same league. every b team in the epl would get roasted in the championship anyway. the championship is a big business league not a joke.

Real Madrid once faced Castilla in the Copa del Rey final... but Real Madrid senior won.
Anyway, I prefer the Spanish model, but I understand what they do in England as they see their Premiership and all the lower leagues as too good and respected for such a thing.

Spain system is the best. They are in same pyramide, but they can not be in same level, both teams can go up and down. B team players, all of them, are also registred to play for first team.

Re: B teams vs Reserve sides
It's tough,
It's like saying who should get more money, the big clubs or spread it out more evenly through all leagues. To be honest, I like Englands system, however we need more reserve teams. If the player is good enough to play first team football they get a loan deal. If not they stay in reserves.
While I do like Spains, I feel it gives the bigger clubs too much money by taking away spots from other clubs to give to B clubs.

Re: B teams vs Reserve sides
considering the common denominator of spain and germany, atm the strongest european national teams (inb4 rabid italians), is that reserves and first teams are both promoted within one league system, i'd say it's pretty obvious
reserve league is a rubbish system because the young/crap players play against other young/crap players and they don't get to play any experienced teams... if you just started playing fifa you wouldn't improve if you only played against people who suck as much as you
no team's reserves are better than the first team...
