What's his playing style like?justdoit_ wrote:I hope he doesn't leave, there's history to be made this season.
FYI he's miles better than Douglas Costa.

Re: Arsenal after Jadson (highly credible source)
Douglas Costa has world class potential, which is easily why he gets so much love, but in terms of his actual output on the pitch for Shakhtar, I can comfortably say that he's among the most overrated in Europe. Douglas is not always the starter, often dropped to the bench for Alex Teixiera or Eduardo, very often the first man substituted off the field, and very often an invisible cog for his full duration on the pith. When you see the top sides in Europe interested it has far more to do with his youth, quick feet, and athletic ability rather than his actual production (something his counterpart, Willian, has in bundles). The right situation and coach can turn him into one of the best wingers in the world, though, I don't think there's any question about that, but the chances that he would flop, in my opinion, would be rather high if he were to move right now.
Jadson's playing style? Nothing really to it, nothing too flashy, he plays in the playmaking surrounded by the best talent in Ukraine, so he is just very smart and methodic about picking the right pass. He's got good striking ability as well.

But itsnt it fairly normal at Douglas age, his talent and promise is far greater then his actual output.
He is yet to learn how to apply his skills properly consistently, which again, is nromal for a 20 year old.
Sure Jadson is better now, or he gives you more productive now, but in 5 years time there is a big chance Douglas is better then Jadson ever was, no?

Headed into the future, indeed, the future can be very bright for Douglas Costa.
As of right now though, Jadson is miles better.
Hopefully this move doesn't materialize into anything, Arsenal can either find better or develop their own into better quite easily so this news is a little bit out of left field.

Re: Arsenal after Jadson (highly credible source)
People forget that, before his injuries, Rosicky was one of the best midfielders around, you don't get the name "Little Mozart" bestowed upon you for passing sideways. Guy was an utter beast at Borussia D, before being hampered by his knees
Sad how quickly people disregard a fit Rosicky, yet waxed lyrically about Hargreaves quality, despite having played only 4 games in 3 years

Re: Arsenal after Jadson (highly credible source)
Rosicky doesn't get injured all that often. It's just that his near two year lay-off has been a severe detriment to his physical side. He doesn't have the pace or stamina anymore to be a consistent first teamer.
