Arsenal will drop out of the top 4 sooner than later if they do not fill in obvious needs in the squad.

Yea, just like we have for the last 6 seasons when everyone said that exact same thing

Just that now you're the fourth best team in the league and it's never good to be borderline. Plus Liverpool have ambitions and they have been strengthening their side (something Arsenal have failed to do so for the most part) and I wouldn't want to be competing with them for a CL spot. There is no doubt that within 1-2 years they will get CL football, and it's just a matter of who drops out.

We have heard that exact same thing for the last three seasons.
Liverpool are ambitious,
Tottenaham are improving
And City are spending a lot of money
And yet here were are, another season of Champions League football for Arsenal, while Liverpool and Tottenham are in Europa.
What I'm saying is instead of assuming Arsenal will drop out every season, which most people have for the last couple of seasons, lets just wait and see what happens on the pitch.

I just can't see Liverpool making the top 4
They need bigger signings than Henderson, Downing and Adam.
But the same goes for Arsenal.

We could sign Samba/Cahill/Mertersacker and people would still say we're going to drop out of the top 4

Re: Predict your top four finish in the EPL this season
The fight for the 3rd and the 4th place is going to be between Liverpool, City and Arsenal.
Liverpool's biggest improvement is their manager, Daglish. City lack creativity, but their squad has enough quality to count them in the running. Arsenal have been boosted by the return of Vermaelen, but Van Persie is going to injured sooner or later in the season. How Arsenal copes with that and the emergence of City and Liverpool remains to be seen!

City spending has already made them finish ahead of you. Tottenham were never going to finish ahead of you because they didn't make a big impact in the transfer market and that year they were the next best team to finish in the top 4 because Liverpool's decline left a hole. I'm not too sure when people were saying Liverpool would finish in the top 4 ahead of Arsenal prior to this season because they only now have they started making improvements. But now the threat to your spot is real because now you have a genuine competitor for your top 4 spot, and unless Wenger finally makes some effort to really strengthen the squad, I can see Liverpool over-taking in 1-2 years solely because of the amount of talent they have bought.

Adam, Downing and Henderson are not exactly world class signings that will have such a huge impact on Liverpool.
To be honest, the only signing they have made recently that scares me is Suarez.
Its not as if they have signed some kind of magical world class player player, someone like Chamberlain for example.

Re: Predict your top four finish in the EPL this season
Arsenal's squad is so damn underrated. They're still a million miles better than Liverpool despite the King Kenny wankfest and are not far off City either.
Don't think they have enough to win the League but they will definitely be in the Top 4. Especially if Barca bottle the Cesc transfer.
