It's a tradition, you walk your sister out of your house as you are greeted by some thirty people of the groom's family before you go to the church.

I am really bad photogenic I always look ugly in photos BMF3 I look a lot better in real life.

Hey guys, how's it going?
Just so you know, today all the coffee and OJ orders are on the house. We're running a cafe for god's sake, don't forget that!


Anyway, I guess I need some advice.

U see, I love being among people, among these groups of boys and girls who go places especially at night. And to be too honest, I feel envy and anger toward them while looking at their photos.

But, trouble is, I can't stand being among people. I'm not too good at it.

I got the jokes, I'm the movie encyclopedia, I have lots of stories from school and work, but it just doesn't work out for me. I find my corner, go all uptight and even a smile becomes impossible.

Has anybody experienced this? Why am I like this?
When I was with my ex, I was superman, I would go anywhere with anybody and be the boss with no exception, but since she disappeared, the confidence is gone.

Guys (specially older ones) what to do?
I feel abnormal!

I feel as if you helped me with an issue similar to your own a few years ago. I had mentioned how I wanted to have more friends and to be able to go out and socialize more often. You let me know that there were more important things to experience in life. Well, since then, I feel as if I have come a long way. I still have these moments of weakness, although I've learned to understand myself better.

Do you know if you're an introvert, or extrovert?

I've been reading a book called "Quiet", by Susan Cain and it's all about introverts in a world that can't stop talking. While I have a good sense of humor and other skills that you think would allow me to be social butterfly, I can never find a comfort zone. Even on nights when I'm on my A game, I have these moments of doubt and start to feel like I've said something stupid (this has even happened while conversing with close friends of mine). There are many of us (introverts) out there and you shouldn't feel like you're weird or abnormal. Just work with it and it will work with you. While you'll never be able to change who you are, there are definitely ways to work around it.

You also asked why it was different with you ex. I don't really have an answer for that as I've never really experienced something like that. I have groups of friends that I am more comfortable around and that I tend to be more outgoing around. But I never had an ex who made me feel like superman. When I go to bars, I always end up staying to myself and like you, it becomes difficult to even smile. I even have this issue when walking down the streets of New York City. I get very self-conscious and seem to put off this vibe that makes me seem unfriendly and unapproachable; I feel this is my way of putting up a shield.

Try to understand what exactly you are feeling when you're in a big group of people. The better you understand the issue, the easier it will be to deal with. This is something I have struggled with since I can remember and while it's still an issue, I feel more in control than I've ever been.

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life,after one and a 1/2 years of studying it paid off.here in brazil we have to end up at top 8 (or around it) in a test in order to get in college,and it's really tough.I studied big chunks of my life in the us and schools over there didn't prepare me for the bitchiests classes from over here.so I studied and passed yesterday on computer engineering :Chaka: at the end of the year I will probably change my major to mechanical or electric engineering.I ended up at 10th position out of 236 students

yeah i listened to it , and it was really nice, considering its just a demo. you can put more improvised solos and stuff but this is nice. did you do all the guitar tracks by youself??

Alright my fellow brethren.

I'm gonna be taking a break from this forum for a while. My post per day count has rapidly dropped as of late and I think this stems from what is the norm on this forum now. It seems like nothing ever changes around here. And given the poor showings of Milan, i'm also a little tired of football. I'm just tired of seeing us play bad, coming on here, complain about it, rinse and repeat.

I'm not saying i'm leaving the forum and i'm not saying I will not check this site because every now and then I will see how everyone is because I really do hold some people on this forum in high regard. I'll essentially just lurk for a while. Hopefully when I come back I will have a greater enthusiasm for posting again.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I have definitely been posting less since the end of arguably our worst transfer season ever. These poor results have just confirmed that. It seems we have been complaining about the same things for ages.

i understand ur fed up .... i also feel the same, i do support milan from heart but this has been ongoing for 5 years now. every weekend...
