Juan Manuel Vargas of Fiorentina says he knows nothing of Juventus’ alleged interest in his services.

The Peruvian is understood to be a transfer target for the Old Lady as they look for a new left-sided midfielder.

However, speaking on Peruvian television, the former Catania player maintained that he had received no offer from Turin.

“It’s all just newspaper speculation about Juventus,” the Copa America player noted. “Up until this point, my representative has told me nothing.

“I’m very happy in Florence and I have a contract with them. We’ll just have to see if anything happens.”
