So if a player can play two positions that automatically means his team mate should also be able to play two completely different positions? He has mainly been played with Alonso he needs to be given more of a chance on the wings.

Sahin doesnt compare at all to Coentrao.

Anyway, told you all that he would take longer to heal completely. Im hoping for a sub appearance in the Anoeta, maybe he can be starting by the next league game? Obviously he needs first team practice before he can actually compete for a starting place though.

i want him to be healthy and 100% fit but ideally this would have happened in preseason not midway through the regular reason

Accroding to Marca, as i suspected, he is training in secret. He played a training game against Castilla in xabi's position, and was "great". He has excellent chemistry with Ozil.

Please guys lower your expectations, a deep lying playmaker is the hardest position to get used to in a new team.

Xabi took ages before he felt comfortable.

I have always been a very big fan of Nuri, In fact I wrote a couple of threads about him in the old forum before we got him.

However I will guarantee you one thing, he will suck for the first few games.

in an interview today Mou said that, although Sahin is no longer injured, he is not ready to play yet. So we won't be seeing him for at least the next game... maybe the one after. But i have a feeling we're still 1-2 weeks away.

so he will probably miss Sociedad and then Lyon, and he will then be back vs osasuna

it was against osasuna when he replaced the then first choice AM Sergio Canales that he blew our eyes off with his passing and throughballs

the game though it ended in a 1-0 victory courtasy of carvalhos goal, but i am sure ozil got the MOTM that game

since that game he has been irreplacable in our team( kaka is just playing because ozil needs some much dire rest like Di Maria got)

I share the same opinion as Yuri, and as i know the kneejerkers of this forum, if he isnt playing like Pirlo in his first few games, he will be branded a flop.

On topic,he'll need at least 6 months to take total control of our midfield. From then on, sky is the limit coming with further chemistry Very Happy

He'd do well to play in Copa del Rey and as Xabi's substitute for now Very Happy
