Sahin plays a more advanced role at Liverpool, scored some goals in the Europa league and has had a lot of playing time since Lucas got injured. What he has not done is look like the world class player he was at Dortmund. I don't think he'll make a big impact at Real Madrid on his current form, I can see him being sold.

Suso has been a revelation this season, he was given a his first starts due to injuries and suspensions in midfield, but boy, has he impressed. He's built on his fantastic Euro U-19 tournament form, where he was the best Spanish player imo. Very technically gifted and has an eye for the killer pass, his play is a lot like Ozil and Iniesta.

yea, i think he is really talented. left footed like ozil. runs with the ball well and has great vision.

i saw sahin playing in the position basically where ozil plays for real. i would think gerrad would have been better in that postion.

i watched a league where he got subbed out at half time for shelvy. he lacks the pace to play in advanced position.

i bet he is even slower than alonso which is pretty slow, but the English game should help him develop into a better player, physically, i guess.

but if he isnt playing in the right position then whats the point.

He's been incredibly poor in big games.

He didn't play for 1 year... w8 until he'll get the rhythm.

Sahin is yet to adapt to the physical aspect of the EPL. So far with Liverpool, baring initial games he is struggling. One can only hope he gets better atleast towards the end of the season otherwise I see him either loaned or even sold by RM.

Good for him. He was unlucky to be injured at RM and to be played out of his position at Liverpool. Hope he begins to play well again and comes back after Alonso retires. Wishful thinking perhaps

Borussia Dortmund loanee Nuri Sahin has admitted that he was not happy during his brief spell at Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old joined the Santiago Bernabeu side in 2011 from the German champions, but endured a torrid time at the club, playing just 10 games.

The Turkey international has since gone back to Jurgen Klopp's team on a two-year loan, but has conceded that he did not like his time in the Spanish capital.

“I can only play at 100 per cent if I'm happy,” he told Ruhr Nachrichten. “And that was certainly not the case at Real Madrid [and other loan club] Liverpool.

“So that's why I've come back to Dortmund.

“I think things would have been different at Real Madrid if I hadn't been injured.”

I think he moved to RM a little early, shud have done it after full recovery.

yea, that missed preseason cause of that injury was telling.

then he had a couple relapses that delayed his recovery, that took it toll on him mentally as well.

i feel he didnt even get the chance to bond with his teammates and coaching staff.

good player, hope he comes back though, but xabi cant be there, sahin needs to start every game.
