Think that comparison was spawned from the obvious (late) legendary FK taker of the same nationality.
To this day its a surprise to me Vlahovic is as good as he is in FKs given he is a typical CF.

Re: Serie A 2023/24
Zlatan has joined Milan now for this third time but as an advisor to the general management.
While that is thrilling as we all know his leadership and effect its a pure PR move for me to reignite some zest into the club and fans but I cannot see it working.
Why? RedBird is a business first and foremost and simply dont seem to have Milan's best interest at heart with their questionable moves and with Ibra's no nonsense approach he's bound to get frustrated and leave given he is volatile by nature and in the end doesn't exactly have experience in this sector either.

Lautaro strikes again.
Seeing how dry the striker market is, he'll be going for 90 million to Barca in the summer.
Is Barca still broke? Then PSG maybe.

Dry is an understatement
Take a look at La Liga's current top scorers. It's depressing.

We need wingers is the problem, n thats hoping Roque lives up to expectations when he comes in the winter... losing Dembele was bad enough for us... maybe Raphinha n Yamal can manage RW, but we have no LW... n Felix isnt that, hes more of a SS, AM, no.10
Currently watching PSG, n they need a better no. 9 though Mbappe isnt it.

Jovic is talented if not a lot just has a tendency to disappear often in games and just isn't the confident killer he was when he came up big in the market.
Ive always liked Piolol but Im ready for him to move on. He has a criminal record of fizzling out in every team he goes in despite starting off well.

seeing a lot of Inter on the brink of bankruptcy news floating around ffs, how does that happen? they dont seem to spend insanely, sell their players for a good amount and have been pretty competitive the last few years, someone save them

Because they have a typically fraudulent Chinese company who spend more than they earn and swindle their investors. Steven Zhang is one of the worst owners in Serie A history

Just an appreciation post for Captain America Pulisic winning the game for us v Sassuolo followed by some comical Italian commentary for his goal.
It cannot be argued that he hasn't been a success for Milan as while not so prolific he adds a lot to our attack.
Easily the best American player of all time its not even close.

Re: Serie A 2023/24
Dempsey was a mid table minnow who scored only one 20 goal season in his prime and that in Fulham at best. The rest of his career was in Squires league MLS. Need i say more. International career was great but mostly against CONCACAF teams.
Donovan was a more influential player and with a brilliant international career but flopped in Europe and plied his trade in MLS of course.
Pulisic already has 28 goals for USA had three good seasons with Chelsea and the last one being a tactical mis-use why he wanted out and is lighting it up for Milan.
No comparison.

Is Pulisic really lighting it up? I saw the PSG games and other CL + Milan clash... he seemed mostly average in those.

By goals not so much even if he has had a very good month for goals + assists in December. But overall he adds a lot to our play, bypasses players, creates chances and is very active in bringing the ball forward. He has his games where he disappears but our midfield also isn't the best as it is.

Watching Milan in CL, I felt the team was "randomly put together" as Rincon stated.

Re: Serie A 2023/24
Pioli while he has had succeed in the league has not replicated it in Europe and only near the end Milan decided to get it together because the first two games were draws for instance albeit with poor finishing luck.
Giroud I will always be a fan of from here and consider his time at Milan a mass success but by God he is the slowest player I have ever seen and this was in his prime, you can image his pace now.
There just is no finishing edge in the team.

Re: Serie A 2023/24
Is pioli even good or did he just continue what gattuso started?
Honestly curious. I dont follow serie a despite having paramount+.
Edit: AS Roma losing to juventus.
Whats mourinho's excuse for losing to this dire juventus team? Dont need to follow serie a to know juventus is a dimeless team.

Re: Serie A 2023/24
Mou is so overrated even today ffs N Juve is underrated. Juve prolly dont have many stars like the past yrs but they got a decent group of players n experienced coach who knows how to do it.

Roma - Juve was the last Serie A game in 2023.
Juve actually has a decent team, but nothing special. Allegri grinds it well in his usual way. Roma has a trash team IMO.
Mourinho is also a dinosaur.

Pioli is good but had his limits and always starts of well and can keep it going but historically doesn't have the ambition in systems and presence to get a top club to where they want to be/should be.
He will always be considered a good coach but that's pretty much about it as far as I am concerned and isn't what Milan need as it stands.

Agreed in all and this is a continuity from last season's startegy (since we got more or less the same lackluster squad) which got us a symbolic CL spot
Allegri is maximizing the assets at disposal, can't expect any better from broke JJ version of Juve
Needless to say we need to buy talented players, in attack and midfield

Also Inter apparently signed a Canadian whose name is, I shit you not, Mitch Buchannon. He looks nothing like David Hasselhoff though.
Cuadrado replacement, good luck to him.
