Yamal with Robben like goal? Exaggerating, but when he does these types of things at age of 16, it really is exciting Razz

Long way to go though...

Worrying Roque not featuring at all though, only explanation is that hes not good enough yet? Ferran doing absolutely nothing as usual. Hope Felix or Roque comes on for him soon...

This midfield trio of ours look good on paper but doesnt work... De Jong cant be a DM, n Pedri/Gundogan are too similar... hopefully we can find a proper DM in the summer or develop Gavi into one or something...

Have you not noticed that Bilbao is playing their B team? Roque is a kid, a prospect. He won’t be ready, as you say, for at least another year. You think he was brought in as a January backup to Lewa, lol. He arrived in January because he reached age of 18, allowing him an extra 6 months to adapt to cullture, Europe and maybe a few opportunities to show his skills,

Did anyone see the Capello interview? He said Ancelotti is probably the best coach in world as he has won every where and he adapts his strategy based on players he has and he dished Xavi as a coach who says this is the way players must adapt to play his style!

Rather surprised a man who worships futbol the way he does to the point Xavi even confessed he watches Serie C games, has turned out to be from what I get, underwhelming. Obviously its his first job and at a top club but did not see it turning out this way, for some reason.

Inaki was once the Nico but staying at Bilbao made him stagnate and pretty much stalled his development. Nobody cares about him now and his career is basically a what could have been. The same can be said about Muniain who has fallen out of favour with Valverde

This is another good and rather sad point but Valverde this time has a far different approach than he did from 13-17 as its not a strong argument against yours but the internal restructuring of Athletic to his new approach does have youth flourish compared to post Bielsa Athletic where it became about results again.
