Havertz is useless in every position
he can actually hold up the ball, use his physicality more and press smartly as a 9

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Heard that Gabriel could be off to Saudi as well. I must say , I am happy that Arsenal will get weakened a bit by his departure and a new CB will need more time to bed in.
City have proper and very good to WC class 5 defenders. Where as Liverpool have only 2 decent - one of them already in decline. Liverpool are playing a very risky game for this season. Just brilliant that City everything so well organized.

Luke Shaw injured now. Malacia has been injured, meaning we have a grand total 0 left backs now fit and available. Royally screwed.

As if that's going to hold back Ten Haag's genius

Re: Premier League 2023/24
it's not ideal but we have players that can cover there
still cant believe how badly our summer window went from looking positive to absolutely tragic, completely sapped my enthusiasm for the upcoming season, we fucked up hugely by rejecting 60M combined for Maguire and Mctominay.
Yes, Maguire wanted a 7m payoff so it was closer to 50M but this was a great chance to remove two players that are not starters. Maguire is fifth choice at CB. Both players will walk for free in a couple years. Seems like we can't really sign without selling and we just can't sell due to offering absurd contracts to mediocre players for the last decade.
Expected to shift Dean Henderson (backup GK who is a cancer) for 15M but Forest and Palace are beinig cheap. We could have shifted De Gea, Fred, Maguire and Mctom this summer ffs. Got in players Ten Hag actually wanted, but then that's another huge issue. Why he grenlit a 60M move for Mason Mount I will never know. He is destined to flop here with the way we set up and the way he keeps targeting meh Eredivisie talents...I don't really want him making the decisions lol.
Remains to be seen if we actually will sign Amrabat from Fiorentina but it seems FFP issues + needing to sell to sign + takeover stalling make it unlikely
all of our hopes for the season look to be piled on Hojlund because as it stands the goals aren't there...the midfield is completely lacking balance
we'll compete for top 4 but I'm not looking forward to it

Times have changed, Utd after spending close to 200m are still unhappy
Only Arsenal seem to be content with their window so far?

Arteta's obsession with Havertz and this new "system" is undoing all of the good work from last season.

Can't help but feel sorry for Nottingham Forest. They mostly played like shit and hardly managed to string two passes together after about 40 minutes into the game, but they did alright despite being reduced to 10 men. Could've at least salvaged a draw, if not for that really soft Rashford pen

Arsenal still making those mistakes that cost them the lead last season. Gotta shrink those out to win the league.

It's crazy how clutch Rodri has been. Not only probably the best DM for the past 3 years, but has been massively clutch also with some goals.

I know many won't agree with me, but Rodri is the best player in the world right now.

lol
we keep going miles and miles, sadly in the opposite direction. This might finally force them to think differently about how to manage the squad signings and whole internal management mess.

Newcastle might actually be City's closest challengers this season. Unlike a certain somebody, Eddie Howe is keeping it simple and just building on his foundations from last season.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Fk I hate it when 2 games I wanna watch on at the same time cos my lame local free streams the commentators keep updating the scores n even switch between games lol... was gonna watch this game n then Barca one afterwards... anyway so ended up half watching up n being updated the score with no intrigue left lol....
Wtf Newcastle, I thought they are now the new top 4 side, not by this showing obviously? LOOL? Been some crazy scores over the yrs between these two teams, I think there were two 4-3 wins for Liverpool back in the 90s?
