So the pre season friendlies starting again... seems majority of the big clubs will be playing each other in the US?

Bayern n Man U for example have played already... early days but still see some oldies in there, like Muller, Evans, etc... n many of the Euro players that reached the latter stages wont feature it seems...

Too lazy to look up, but any one know if there are any of those little tourney trophies to look forward to?

Still no interest here? I thought pre-season games used to attract decent attention...

Barca beat Man C on pens but at least half B teams, but still Major positive in a while...

Just peek at some of the other big clubs like Spurs n Newcastle... dont look like major signing yets? Aug. should see lots of transfers happening...

I’ve watched a lot of the preseason matches, but the general level of football is low and the top players who do play largely seem to be playing on a lower gear.

It’s the young/fringe players that can be fun to watch in these matches, but I haven’t seen anything great from them so far.

I will say, though, Liverpool looked pretty good under their new manager.

Lost interest in pre-season when I stopped watching them for club pride and realised the best managers will use them for experimentation and the worst, for wins.

Unless there is a new exciting player for us it never makes sense for me to watch them ever since.

Looks like our season will depend a lot on Amad Diallo and whether he will stay injury free or not. Already has nailed down a starting role with his showings so far. Rashford too low key looks like he has found his spark somewhat.

But overall the shape/positioning was better than anything I've seen from Xavi tbh. Pretty happy with Flick so far

Don't think we'll as good defensively with Militao and Rudiger as were last season with Nacho and Rudiger. Something about Militao and Rudiger makes them both lose focus alot. We'll see.

As for Fran, he's going to have to step ALOT if he wants to stay next summer. Atrocious showing.

Only half watched the replay... but where was Guler, all the Real fans hyping him up but the commentator he was a weak point as Real's right side often is

He is clearly talented. Endrick, on the other hand, i dont see it.

Yeah Arda was the brightest thing this game together with Vini. If he'd just held his run for a fraction of a second he'd have scored a superb goal. Can't wait to see him with the first team.

Brahim on the other hand has flattered to deceive so far. Ceballos as frustrating as ever, Endrick letting nerves get to him so the attack has looked so and so.

If there is anyone in our squad that is ready for the start of the season it is Arda although he's only been training for a few days.

Hope Carlo stays true to his words and actually gives him proper minutes and not scrap minutes.
