At this point I think Neymar and Mbapay dislike eachother very much. There'll be no harmony in that team until that duo is broken up. Did Neymar just run to celebrate with Paredes, a guy the new sporting director wants out

I think I've never seen such behaviour from a footballer. There will be no cl with that kind of attitude in a team.

Reminds me of the exact same obnoxious behavior of the kid who owned the football back when we were kids. You know who I'm talking about? He's everywhere, all around the world, in every single country. If you don't pass him the ball, the game is done. If he's losing, the game is done. If he's not scoring, he makes up new rules just so he can score.
I'm pretty sure Mbappé was like that when he was a kid. Heck, I'm pretty sure he still is.

What did Messi do today to earn the ‘Messi MoM so far’ remark at HT?

I think people are projecting him being a perfectionist about himself and showing frustration about his play... He's mostly emotional about himself. But sometimes, when a teammate makes a wrong choice, he can get pissed off. He was upset that Vitinha was passing to the wrong side a lot this game. Not just to Mbappe... but Vitinha was missing Hakimi who was wide open a lot too.
Disappointed with his performance generally and was in a bad mood as a result. He's rusty. Hasn't played in 3 weeks and barely in preseason. He should take it easy a bit on himself.
If you see him not passing (which he did) or just shooting from all over the place (which he didn't), then it's worrisome. But if he's playing properly and shows frustration (at his own performance mostly)... not a big deal.
Guy is tightly strung. He's an ultra competitor. That's how these types of people are. He doesn't play like CR (extremely selfish)... but he has that intensity.

Re: Ligue 1 22-23
According to RMC, there are personal issues he's dealing with too:

He almost wasn't able to play but decided to anyhow. Wonder what the issue is here.

Re: Ligue 1 22-23
What do u think about the new tactics Sport? The pressing in particular looked very good in this game? Their GK n defenders in general were forced into so many mistakes I lost count
I still dont like 3 CBs though, just a waste of one player who instead could be in midfield doing so much more...
Also hows the new guy Vitinha? Just complete unknown...

Re: Ligue 1 22-23
Actually the 352 or 3412 was completely obvious... I think Casci and I were advocating for it since last summer.
Hakimi and Mendes are wingbacks. They're not fullbacks. So to compensate for their propensity to want to attack, you need 3 CBs.
If you have 3 CBs, you don't need a DM. One just plays the old libero role. That allows for two proper CMs in Verratti and Vitinha. THAT SAID, I think Renato Sanches is necessary in there against better teams because you can't dominate possession like you do against weaker ones.
The big key is that Neymar is FINALLY in shape. Not a surprise since it's a World Cup year. I'd hurry up and sell him before the WC because he's going to disappear into nothingness right after, win or lose by Brazil.
Second big key is that Messi is actually in the right state of mind. Last year, it was a big shock for him to leave Barca in the way that he did. He also did not understand Ligue 1 at all. This year, you can see that he's reading the game a lot better. I also think that the structure Galtier brings helps him a lot.
Tactics , management, health! The manager is creating the proper balance, selling the players on the project so there's good intensity, implementing a defense predicated on possession because you don't have the overall defensive talent to allow the other team to have the ball. Health is the key to all this though... hope PSG maintain it. Ramos is actually VERY important.
I love it. Galtier is doing a great job (early days though).

Re: Ligue 1 22-23
Great, thx Sport, agree with ur many points. I also seeing much improvements n positives. Guess I'll learn to watch how effective the 3 CBs can be or not The lineup shown had Messi in the no.10 position instead of RW, Mbappe right of the front two, n actually as u said Neymar looking hungry n combative higher up instead of all over the place, then the WBs providing the width n runs for Messi to pass to. It looks simple now but its been yrs Messi havent had this setup for some reason
Also ur right they are mood players n turn it on especially for the WC... I imagine they would wanna wrap up as many points as possible hence they are on fire already n can ease off b4 n after the WC a bit until CL starts again in Feb.

Marca | UEFA warn PSG of possible sanctions should financial losses continue
Fair-play financier : l'OM et le PSG rattrapés par l'UEFA
You read the titles and you say "wow! some measures are really being made!"
Then, while reading the article, you find this little detail carefully tucked between the lines:
And so, realizing that this is just a poorly directed play by UEFA and PSG, you pretend that you didn't read anything and close the tab.
