But, to be fair, so was Harry Kane's challenge (which would have robbed all of us of this great match by producing a red in the first 20 minutes).

Which is why sin bins should replace the card system.

Largely agree with that, Kane definitely was red, but becos hes the symbol of the NT ref obviously wont send him off, this ref has no balls.

Kane's could have been a red. Orders of magnitude different from what Robertson did. Absolutely lost his mind there.

Spurs played better than Pool and will regret not taking three points. It was a great match though, and getting a point from Liverpool is never a bad result.

Kane's foul was extremely brainless. The clear symptom of a man lashing against his critics. Would have ruined the match if he got a red, but it would have been deserved.

In my opinion, getting a player sent off for 70 minutes is excessive punishment though, and kills the spectacle.

Kane never was/is as good as Benz (who is a great player, so this is not disrespecting Kane).

Benzema for years has played in stacked squads compared to the jackasses Kane has had to endure at Spurs. Also the quality in the leagues are large, so Benzema can shine more against La Liga minnows.

Benzema has been playing his best football in the last couple of years IMHO, so currently he is levels above Kane - no doubt. But I like Kane more, he is more complete as a classic CF.

Kane on top form is/was one of the best goal scoring CFs with a know-how of what it takes to be a modern day 9. And yes his peak probably was better than Benz's.

Kane is not even a 10th as good as Benzema, benzema has been the starting CF for the best team of the decade, he’s a better passer, better touch, better dribbling, better link up and build up play, he’s better in every single way. Kane is the biggest hype job of the 21th century

perhaps my judgment is clouded as the most prominent memories of Benzema i have is playing second fiddle 9.5 playmaker to Ronaldo. Plus peak Kane put the ball in the net from everywhere with any foot. His movement and ability to outsmart defenders was incredibly sharp!

It was a mutualistic relationship, not a parasitic one and anytime benzema left the starting lineup, we played horribly. What does second fiddle even mean. We maximized Ronaldo’s goal scoring and benzemas playmaking.

@danyjr, clueless as usual, keep crying, Kane will never ever be half the player benzema is. The Madrid hate is real.

Which team actually has a chance of stopping City this season? In Europe even.
