Unlucky Benz with the penalties. Either he needs to smash them in Zlatan or Ronaldo style or vary the sides. Needs to take out his frustration against City next week

Rodrygo was excellent. When Alaba went off we actually became more solid in the heart of the defence. He is not a CB. Just plsy him as a fullback ffs

From my experience, missed penalties tend to happen in a bunch. A player makes 20 in a row and then misses some... then goes back to making 20 in a row.

Mbappe is fairly good at them. He misses at times though. Tends to happen in a bunch for him too.

Technically, we need at least another win and a draw to win the league. Reason being, Barça has the head-to-head advantage, so Madrid would lose the title if both teams were to end up being tied on points.

We only need 4 more points to be crowned champion and become mathematically unreachable.

You're right, I didn't know Barça were going to play their games in hand this week.

Would be cool to be crowned champion before the City game. It would make the team focus only on the CL.

That can’t happen! The only games before Chelsea game is Sevilla - Levante and the 2 Barca games. We need the weekend games at end if April to decide it!

kroos is a solid pk taker, benzema is solid too, i've only seen hi miss maybe 2 at the most. people miss here and there, as long as it isnt one of those pk shoot outs or miss in a final or semi when u really need the goal, i'm not too bothered. this has been our most dominant league season since 2008.

btw i have a feeling mbappe signs with psg.....i dont wanna believe this is going to be that easy

Watching replays of two city goals, it’s Militao at fault for both. Carvajal has been named re 1st, but he reacted (on wrong side) for what should have been Militao’s man. He didn’t even react yet he was closer.

I think maybe Sports has been right about Militao. Far to many mistakes and worst if all, he doesn’t seem to realize his errors.

Perhaps Rudgier should be replacing Militao rather than Alaba.

Teams protect their back 4 by pressing high. We invite pressure by having a low defensive block. It's suicide. It's never worked

Pressing isn't the issue. Our CBs decide to get aggressive in weird times.

Kroos playing holding mid doesn't help either lol.

A tough game for sure. I didn't expect such a failing from militao however. Then again he is 24. Rather young for his position and thus prone to mistakes. But this isn't the first time he's made such mistakes this season.

If he plays like that again, he could very well cost us the 2nd leg. Carlo needs to have a sit down with militao. In times like this I wish we still had Ramos.

City have done well to take advantage of the chances they got against us but not finishing us off is the one mistake they will regret.

We will triumph at home. Make no mistake about that.
