Going to be honest, Paul starting would have made little difference as Utd's issues, to me, stems from the fact that whatever is being coached is no longer effective. I dare say, it's having an adverse effect.
All Paul starting would have accomplished, to me, is Sourness feeling all smug in his criticisms.

More to do with the manager then the players. Pep or Klopp would've had this team near the top.
Exactly. Ronaldo messed up big time. He would absolutely thrive in peps system as the CF

Agreed hope he's ok
Would like to see a couple more goals for Pool here. This is a crazy game already, let's make it crazier

So he still would get criticised.

Which you prefer: the borefest with 3 points or getting mauled in front of God and everyone else?

“Ole must stay” and “Ole’s at the wheel”, Liverpool fans are chanting at Old Trafford as @JamieJackson___ reports. #MUFC #LFC #MUNLIV

The rout, of course. At least there is some entertainment in there.
The clasico was a total waste of time.

I see no entertainment in a child getting beaten to Pulp by an adult. Even if the child is a bratty kid.

Of course, you're talking on the back of 3 points and not a 5-0 beating by Koeman lol.

Red card ruined this game. If 11v11 Ole would have been forced to push for goals n try to get back into it, but 10 means he has the right to just park the bus... oh well, still awesome to witness Liverpool rape Man U 5-0 at Old Trafford

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
United tried to press early on but got sliced apart. Happens to a lot of teams.
But the response is basically a death knell for OGS because his players didn't respond. The leaders in the team weren't rallying the players to play more compactly. Half the team were playing with intensity while the other half weren't which made it much simpler for Liverpool to get big chances.
OGS has done well in getting enough good results for United to have reasonably high expectations again post Mourinho. I think he's tried to develop the team towards being good in the press so they don't have to play the mid-block as often, but it hasn't been compact enough. That's part coaching, part personnel.
Thing is, they could get someone like Conte in, but Conte will play mid-block 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 and the fans will hate it because it's not attacking enough.

Sure Ole would stay despite this, espeically can partly scapegoat Pogba for the red Liverpool are on fire so its not all Man Us fault Fans just gonna get used to it. The top 3 are far ahead of everybody else. Man U playing for 4th place anyway which they should comfortably get.
