I like this one. Clearly this is a sought after player.

If we keep him we dont have to watch Roberto pretend he is a fullback. If we move him on, its for a profit.

According to r/soccer last season in la liga he had:

3rd most succesful tackles
most interceptions of any player

Does this mean we have given up on Dest? Hopefully not. I like Dest a lot. He started off excellently, was way overplayed and then started getting niggling injuries.

Dest is absolute shit defensively. Emerson is probably worse offensively but as seen in our La Liga campaign we scored a lot more goals than Atleti & RM but also conceded lots more. So we need more stability in defense and thats where Emerson could be better than Dest for us.

How was Dest shit defensively?

Under the circumstances, we made a bit of quick profit so thats a plus Happy to have just Dest anyway I guess, with Roberto as cover though which is risky, no choice I guess.

Sad. I actually was interested in him. Dest is good but very shaky defensively.

Disappointing. I guess it was too difficult to turn down 20 something million when you have Dest and Mingueza as obvious alternatives.

Looked like a solid individual defender, a little shaky in deep ball possession and we didnt get to explore his offensive qualities. A shame.

Like him even more that he agreed to the deal when he was perfectly within his right to stay.
Like all the other oldies on the squad who shamelessly stay even when the club has asked them to find other clubs

I too like his attitude, he wants to play no matter what. I don't understand how a player can be happy sitting on the bench just to earn money. Something is surely wrong with this people.
