Yes, he wanted to delete the contract ( it seems due to bad impressions about city ) but at the end he stayed and he liked it too. he changed his impressions about Napoli... Now he's on loan , Napoli has many players on that role

However, I feel like the youngster with the biggest promise in that Leverkusen team might be Tapsoba

Brych VERY lenient with Frankfurt players today, should have given about 3 yellow cards already, he has given none

He's a great CB option in FIFA. Had him in my team since last year, that scouting talent

Surely to young to be declared finished already, I'd call the evidence inconclusive
But he's probably finished at Dortmund, even if of course there's a new coach incoming at some point.

What do you mean by finished? Didn’t live up to his potential? Finished at Dortmund? I think he’s a good, rarely great performer who shows flashes of top quality every now and then. I find myself expecting more from him quite often, but he also surprises me by how effective he is when he does step up his game.
I don’t think he’s quite consistent enough to warrant any great concern if he does leave Dortmund, but he is their most prominent playmaker at the moment, and they’ll want to replace him with another playmaker. The ones currently at Dortmund are likely too wet behind the ears to fill that role. Sancho has the talent to be one, but he seems to prefer being a pseudo striker.

On the ball he reminds me very, very much of Firmino in his way of playing. Not in terms of position, or role, but in the manner of presence and interplay.
Showing up only intermittently, short, quick flashes of action with glimpses of amazing quality which however often seem a bit out of sync, maybe too quick in thought, with his co-players, often it seems hasty and only sometimes it really clicks, often it's unsuccessful flicks and messed up actions, but there's a potent, creative quality in there. But the whole image is one of inconsistency, or rather of intermittences.
He's more of a playmaker and midfielder than Firmino, but then the problem of course is his against the ball contribution is not anywhere near Firminos. Firmino's against the ball performances hold his overall performance together, offsetting and balancing the inconsistency and the going missing with the ball at a rather consistent level. Brandt's add another weakness.
I used to be unimpressed by him when he was hyped all over the place (the place being Germany) as a youngster, then when his hype faded I strangley started to actually like and appreciate him, but he's been not showing up often enough, and good enough, at BVB. Favre didn't really know what to do with him, too.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 20/21
You summed him up quite well. I think he’s a bit frustrating, because you can clearly see the silhouette of what he has the potential to be, when everything’s clicking for him, but like you already pointed out - what you see a lot of the time is not notably impressive, and the awkward and often unnecessary «la roulettes» and flicks don’t make him look any better.
I missed him when he was absent for a short while, sometime near the end of last season. Sancho wasn’t in the mood to share his goalscoring opportunities, and Dortmund’s remaining playmaking capacity simply couldn’t replicate the quality that Brandt had provided for a few matches prior to his absence/rest/whatever the reason was. They were struggling to create chances and control the tempo of matches, and they looked more like a team of individuals than they had done when he was playing.
And so, it was reassuring to see him back in the starting lineup after two matches or so away from it. However, he didn’t continue where he’d left off. He was back on his streaky tendency of looking unspectacular. It didn’t take long before Gio Reyna started showing his quality as well, which further highlighted Brandt’s lack of... what’s it called? The quality of being irreplaceable. I think that’s the problem with him. The talent is there, but it’s not quite... tangible, or sustainable enough to warrant starting him over players that may have less playmaking talent, but possibly more room to grow, and more to provide, overall.
You might be right that he’s too quick to think and process what goes around him, and I’ve seen several examples of him making potentially great passes, only for his team mates to be out of sync with them. That’s something he’ll hopefully improve and adjust to as he matures as a player. For now, though, I think BvB fans would be happy if he just works on his sustainable level of impact.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 20/21
The first half between Dortmund and Wolfsburg has been a borefest. Looks like Tersic might be off to a rocky start as interim coach of Dortmund.
Haaland is back from injury, but has looked sluggish and off pace, so far. The second half can only get better.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 20/21
Still, Haaland back is a huge boost for BVB and makes them much more likely to win the game. The guy just won't be happy until he has scored.
Looking at that BVB team and squad, there's so much talent and quality, but they need a coach to get them going, someone to unleash that potential, someone brave.
They're never going to get anywhere like this, and then they sell their best players again.

Yeah, I hope they can get a coach who knows how to utilize and hopefully develop their offensive players. I saw a lot of positive development from Reyna and Bellingham under Favre. I hope it continues with whoever their next manager may be.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 20/21
Haaland really is such a fantastic finisher, such a player with an idiosyncratic, blunt character, the way he runs, the way he is on the ball, the way he takes the chances the way he gets them.
Not exactly elegant, rather rugged, but in a way highly refined and accomplished.
So good to watch.
