The only complains about our win against florence was - 2-0 up and at times we were playing like we have good lead and no need to worry ... doing backpasses. well that lead could blow up anytime, we need to be more ruthless in front of goal like atalanta.

second thing, kessie, rebic, diaz trying to overdo a little with dribbles and all when ball is already ours at opponents pk box, and shot on goal on site... just aim and put dragowski on test ... he is a damn good gk.

Lastly, krunic, dunno why we have to bring krunic to play as a 4-3-3, or play him in the wings when calhanoglu still is on. whatever that is, krunic didnt do anything noteworthy in fact that gave more ball posession to fiorentina to launch counter. whenever we stop being relentless and V " ... keeping the ball " beause we have lead, we are likely to mess up, its not happening now but there are danger sign out there.

--------------------------------------

kjaer though omfg, won every aerial duals, won all interception, kept ribery, or any fiorentina FW on check, the quality of ball even from the back to start off was second to none. Calabria also this guy has gone total transformation from one of those worst defenders out there who couldnt even play basic football 101 to sharpness in concentration, comfortable in ball posesssion, didnt do much in attack but there was few occasion he took two fiorentina players dribble past them unfortunately we couldnt convert them.

romagnoli despite goal and solid defending i still have doubts on his ability to play highline ; completely caught off guard by ribery who he thought was offside but if not for donnarumma that would be goal

Hellas Verona is no joke, basically reverse UNOed Atalanta by juric by their own methology and playing style. Zaccagni, Lovato is form of his life, barak is a thorn, veloso is really underrated, rarely get mentioned, even in Genoa.

i know robes dont rate - di marco but i really like this guy, ever since i started watching u21. even at parma he did well. faraoni is playing real good too... another player after leaving inter is doing good job.

Atalanta clearly had better opportunities but they just couldnt work it out on final product though. this juric team is compact very difficult to beat, everyone works on helping in defense and presses really good, counterattack is also almost like atalanta style

Agreed

I wish i had as much optimism as you, but our number one weakness is depth, we have no backup LB for Theo, we have no vice-Kjaer or vice Ibra, despite his exclusion yesterday, the two goals were from a corner and a penalty, we severly struggle making chances without Ibra in open play. We have no serviceable option for Bennacer/Kessie, both who have been an immense partnership in the middle, Tonali is shaping up to be the next Bertolacci at this rate. And we have no decent keeper behind Donnarumma, Tatarusanu conceded some funny goals.

Its too early to tell, i really don't think we will contest for the scudetto if im being honest? Top 4, yeah, but you need consistency. Something we've been struggling over the past few years, this team will have an implosion coming, i am not sure when, but it will, historically we've struggled in the first half of the season then make a great second half. Now, we've had an amazing first half, and it not entirely out of realm to say we will have a bad second half. A combination of fatigue, over-reliance, lack of depth and 'being found out' will see to that.

Scudetto is out of the question.

We lack the depth for it and our style of play is unsustainable as it is with or without Ibra and without the Swede we just lack the goals and the creativity for it nor does Pioli have a sliver of experience to carry a team to first let alone third.

Top 4 on the other hand, is a different story.

Arq, I would've agreed with you if Seria A was the same as 2, 3 years ago when Juventus was head and shoulders above everybody else. However, now the league is way more competitive and Juventus is not nearly as good as it used to be.

You certainly have a chance this year, and it's up to you to whether take it or blow it.

Agree with DoC. There is a lot of parity at the moment, everyone got better and we got worse for now. Even in mid and lower table every game is more difficult.

Milan 23
Inter 18
Sassuolo 18
Juve 17
Napoli 17
Roma 17
Verona 15
Atalanta 14
Lazio 14

Milan is building a pretty big advantage and more importantly they don't look like stopping.

Juve and Inter flip a coin before the match to determine if we look like scudetto winners or EL teams Laughing

It's noteworthy to say that Napoli and Roma each have 1 forfeit. They have been quite good, at least until Roma's pathetic display last night. Napoli should climb the table.

Demon it is better to understand that Kaladin, M99 and I have been pessimistic on our chances for any individual match to trophy for a decade by now and by habit automatically count ourselves out, so there is little weight in what is said but the more objective opinion here is that we are "due" to regress and sooner than later, and when that happens I do not see Pioli getting us out of that one.

But if we can continue to build that advantage of points as Rinc above said, it may stretch out just enough till the end perhaps.

I rate Milan exactly for consistency, it's not a streak that is lasting " just" 9 matches, it begins from June.

And even the "soft " calendar is not a matter anymore, Milan have faced also Napoli Inter and Roma, 2 victories and 1 tie.

Frankly, the moment someone compares Tonali to freakin Bertalocci is the moment you know Milan fans are simply being over-cautious.

Our main problem is a lack of key decision-making in the final third (Without Ibra), but we create nearly the most amount of chances in the league. We have been consistently doing that since the Gattuso days, and we always struggled in making the final goal-making move.

Also, we collectively switch-off at key moments in the match, and a goal gets scored against us on a regular basis against the run-of play. At its worst, we fail to score while dominating the match while conceding from the first few chances created against us.

It was clear that the team was in an upward trajectory, and players like Kessie, Calabria, Cala, were improving during Gattuso's time, but that we missed the CL spot due to key moments in a game or two. Also, all the above are confidence players, and their performance ebbs and flows with how the whole team is functioning.

The Scudetto is in Juve's and Inter's hands, but we shouldn't pretend we won't be fighting for it. In fact, one member of the team would be extremely disappointed not to get it, and I hope the rest share some of that mentality.

I rule us winning but not a chance Conte's Inter are winning.

They don't hold a candle to what they were last year and just plain aren't very good.

Juventus' X-factor is Cristiano and Morata's form should he keep it up and or Dybala if he stops being shit as he has this season.

Juve cannot get any worse, Milan cannot get any better, Inter is on and off

So yes i still expect us to win the scudetto, however we have extremely disappointing moments, i don't recognize my team anymore. By playing to their normal standards our players can easily compensate a 6 pts lead, on the long run it will be sufficient. For that we'll need a coach very soon. Then next summer, a big clean-up is needed. It's not like our squad is complete crap, more so we lack strategies, no specialist in creativity, lack of grit in midfield. Ronaldo only guy who can change a match by his own. A second half of season domination as in 2016 won't happen.

Good again. Ibra is doing Ibra things, but at the same time their good group of young players is coming along. They are unbeaten since March in the league.

Not sure if this is sarcasm, when the age of the squad and the improvements the players have been making over the past year or so are taken into account

No it wasn't sarcasm

You think it's a controversial take ? I am talking of this season, not the future. Ibra's influence explains your impressive post-lockdown form. Let's see if this last 6 months, i doubt it.

Kjær out is a huge huge loss. He is our current defensive stalwart and at the moment I have no faith in Romagnoli.

Time for our good run to end.

No excuses.

We have had a grand total of 1 CB fit for some matches. No starting left back until now, No Ronaldo, Ramsey, and Dybala for periods, and now no Morata.

Milan's next matches are against scrubs,
Sampdoria
Parma
Genoa
and Slavia Praga in a match that doesn't matter

since when did this crusade of yall against milan happened ?  Shocked u guys act as if milan has won everything ....  Neutral
romagnoli still have hip injuries and hadn't been fit to play since international duties and even yesterday hence he was kept out. gabbia is the only fit CBs, because atm we have close to no one - duarte came back recently hasnt even clock a minute to get some match fitness.

if it is juve or inter playing against sampdoria, parma, genoa its not scrub teams and if we are playing its scrub teams.

ur both teams are the best team in italy anyday ahead of milan are expected to win serie a and go far in CL

dunno what happened to romagnoli's confidence - he probably swapped body with mussachio
plus he also had hip injury and was out for few games incl. international duty

i dont know how things going to go but atm we will have to just hope and pray that we just get most of December and get kjaer back before New year
