@Rincon, what do they mean? Are Serie A teams only allowed to sub 4 times? So one occasio has to be 2 subs in that case. I don't get it scratch

It doesnt mean anything. These guys think that teams can only make 3 subs. So when Juve made the 4th sub they had a meltdown.

Teams are allowed 5

yet to see highlights for todays match day but interesting results
juve luckily have a healthy 7 pts buffer over next close rivals and with only Roma and Lazio as the toughest rivals.

lazio has run out of gas they might even finish 4th at this rate.

jsut a feeling that if piolo wont stay in milan, juve might just sack sarri and get pioli... i just get this feeling.
milan loss would be juve's gain too knowing now at this point they are probably not enjoying sarri atm

And Bernardeschi.

Both need to GTFO asap

Their times at Juve are over. Matuidi is just too poor at everything, and Bernardeschi lost too much confidence, not playing as the same player of his first season. Basically our only attacking player that is not thriving this season.

Alex Sandro post injury has been so shaky, not recovered yet. Yesterday Berardi just annihilated Matuidi and Alex on his flank. Chiellini was also very much off form after so many months of injury. Not a good recipe on the left of our defense.

Sassuolo has a really interesting coach in De Zerbi (next Sarri or next Giampaolo?) And good group of players. Berardi looks like the player he was always supposed to be now in a proper functioning team, I wonder if he will ever choose to leave Sassuolo. He would improve the RW of every Serie A team. Boga kills it 1 on 1 but I'm not convinced he can be more than Douglas Costa, that would already be a very good outcome. Needs more experience in decision making at this point. Djuricic and Caputo are great for combining in attack.

Locatelli is another one looking like the player he was supposed to be, complete package of a midfielder. Against us he made 91 accurate passes out of 92! plus good defensive work, kept it simple with the dribbling against us but usually he dribbles forward more.

Sarri out

Covid and the imponderables related to it are not excuses for Juventus

Would take back Max any day now. We need a real tactician to lead the troops. Let's call this a much needed 1 year hiatus, he will come back with fresh ideas and he's someone we could trust on the long term. It's not the same as Conte.

Who else is on the short list ? Last year i wanted Gasperini, not sure anymore, after Sarri experience i fear another provinciale mess

Obviously Max is better than Sarri there is no comparison.

Though like Max, Sarri has resorted into a tactical shell but without the astute tactics that Max sacrificed his originally attractive football for (and very aesthetic it was).

Sarri hellbent on excuses and then his poor communication with players is another thing. Players with Max had a love/hate relationship with him in Juve be it screaming at him to a lot of affection, in the form of Dybala to CR etc.

Sarri is just plain distant and I don't think they are having fun as a result.

He isn't good enough for Juventus and Sarriball whilst amazing is a foregone conclusion since his pragmatism has overtaken him like a parasite and I wonder why the beautiful Juventus he had in the first months or so has become so boring and ineffective. Heck, the same happened with his Chelsea then become rigid and overly tactical.

A shift from the end of Max to Sarri requires time.

Either Juve decides to give Sarri time, or it was all pretty pointless.

For how mismatched our team is to Sarri's game, the attacking players are enjoying it much more. Dybala and Ronaldo are having his best seasons here. The backline looks rejuvenated as well. The problem, as we all knew, is that the midfield cannot play this style of football. Allegri switched to defensive football for a reason.

The midfield and the RW are letting the team down. Ramsey is a flop, Khedira has been injured most of the season, Matuidi is plain useless, Pjanic keeps declining. Bentancur continues to improve, and Rabiot after a long time looks very good, he was too unfit to start the season. At the start of the season Pjanic was on form and our football looked amazing, now Pjanic disappeared and it all becomes inconsistent.

Bernardeschi and Costa both arent good enough to partner Dybala and Ronaldo consistently.

If we win Serie A, the club should back Sarri in the market. Proposing such a radical shift in style only to sack the manager after 1 season having won the league is a step back.

He wasn't in my top 3 choices for coach last summer, but he has done fine. You can tell where the work is going, we are inconsistent but the intention is there, when it shows through we look great. If we transition like this, winning the league still, then he deserves continuity.

We need a new fullback, a new Midfielder, and a new winger, hopefully besides the ones already signed (Kulusevski and Arthur). The board should back Sarri, or whoever's the next coach is, instead of planning an isolated mercato.

My choices last summer were Conte (gone), Gasperini, and Inzaghi.

Will Gasperini want to quit his amazing project to finally come back to Juve?

Inzaghi I was certain was going to be our coach, fits all boxes, and imo is the next Allegri. I'm still certain he will coach us, just not sure when.

Without Pjanic we have no specialist in midfield and that's a big problem
Not to mention we lack a quality grinder since way too long. We've had guys like Matuidi, Asamoah, Sturaro in this role rofl

All guys who excel in nothing. Khedira is 6ft3 how many headers he ever won here ? 5 in total ?
Ramsey, Rabiot, Bentancur in whatever version of sarriball as supporter (in a role like Allan) they can barely do the job... Arthur let's give him a chance... we still lack a distributor which only Pjanic can do this role, and he's gone

Demiral, Kulusevski will integrate the team. I miss the enthusiasm of Moise Kean

So, my mercato :coffee:

BUY
Jorginho
Sergej
Hateboer

SELL
Khedira
Matuidi
Bernardeschi
Rugani
Danilo
Perin
Pjaca

Gives us a solid squad, well-balanced, and low cost

Everyone knows the problems lie in the middle

Watch our last 3 games and the midfield just gets overrun. You need speed to press and youth to do it throughout the game.

The midfield gets instantly bypassed and that’s a big problem defensively and offensively. Our forwards don’t track back and they won’t either, so we need an overtuned midfield to compensate.

4 goals with Milan, 2 with Atalanta and 3 with Sassuolo is an extremely bad look for the team.

Tbh, I don’t blame Sarri. I don’t think he’s an incredible manager but we needed a change after Allegri, who, as people seem to forget, was putting out similar performances towards the end.

I wouldn’t trust any manager to do a much better job with this squad. Lots of aging players, lots of deadweight and a much better Serie A than recent years.

I’m more excited to see players leave than arrive, I’d rather see youth players that can actually make their way around the field for 90 minutes than what we’ve been seeing lately.

Mmm true I had forgotten the CR factor
He's scored 28 goals under Sarri with 5 matches to miss in Serie A ( under Allegri just 21)

Hell yeah.

Pioli at Juve? Would be a massive decline.

It’s probably Inzaghi as the most sensible choice.

I like Gasperini but no one trusts him outside of Atalanta and our team would burn out in 15 minutes trying to play his style.

Allegri took Conte’s squad and made it better before it got worse- midfield depletion being overshadowed by forwards and lately defenders

It is such a typical Milan-Inter-Juve thing to do when an Italian coach is having strong results with a lower-midtable to mid-table club and snap him up within 1-2 years.

Disclaimer: Just because he is doing well in his small pond and expectations does not mean he will fit into the eternally gigantic expectations of those clubs unless he shows something extraordinarily different with them.

Inzaghi is tactically a very strong manager but has his drawbacks and he is the one you want to see do well, and does but not the coach you want to see on your own team for he is frustrating as it comes.

Gasperini is made for Atalanta through and through and his stint in Inter was unlucky but him moving would be a nigh perilous situation for him and best carry on Atalanta similar to how Guidolin did with Udinese.

Allegri was great for Juve but should not come back and no his relationship with Cristiano was quite good but expected too much creativity out of him to which worked, but didn't do so well for his prolificacy of goals.

Sarri if he does not perform with a revamped midfield (the only viable excuse here) should get his tracksuit bum ass back to Naples then. Then again hard to imagine how you cannot get the best out of someone so versatile and effective Ramsey.

regardless of pioli or not ; i think its important that rangnick steps in - our club have made too much mistakes bringing in wrong players or players staying for too long hiding when they needed to be casted out. i dont believe in pioli that much too ; team started performing after covid and  under ibra and as soon as he leaves we will go back to old shit reality that pioli cant fix because end ot the day current management aren't willing to take ownership to issues.

rangnick would be great i think because latented young players would feel like they feel much safer and trust him if he comes to milan. thats good start ; change is needed, i understand stabiliy concerns on how pioli has been doing great but i won't be fooled by this team how bad this team is to the core and except few players for 3-4 seasons now.

the only positives is that team has no pressure as we got little to nothing much to play for really hence they are playing as if they got nothing to loose. pioli was brough as temp fix by current mangement ; only thing that will make me trust pioli is if rangnick is willing to work closely with him and both work on bringing quality players because we have got a big dilemma in hand on fundamental issues with defence, midfield, and attack.
