Yeah, like I’ve stated before, I would never even suggest for a top club to buy a Norwegian talent in the past. Only 10-15 years ago, our top players were nothing but height and strength, no technique. That seems to have changed, though. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Ødegaard display the level of passing talent and technique he had as a mere 14 year old for my local team, and I’ve kept being surprised by the type of players that have emerged here since then. This paradigm shift in Norwegian football has been so gradual, yet so sudden.
Is it just a case a few talented players emerging or is there a concentrated effort to reform Norwegian football? If there is a Michel Sablon-type character working behind the scenes you guys might become the next Belgium.

I have no clue if there’s someone working behind the scenes, but apart from Ødegaard and Haaland, I’ve seen quite a few technically skilled, young players emerge over the past 5 years or so. Many of them might not ever amount to anything, but the raw talent is there and the general shift in style from strength and physicality to more technical and eye pleasing football in the younger generation is quite exciting to witness after all of these years of boring garbage.
Sander Berge, Martin Samuelsen and Mats Møller Dæhli are some names off the top of my head that look really promising. Mats has struggled with persistent injury woes for half a decade now, though and is already 24. Martin wasted multiple years at West Ham without getting any playing time, and consequently suffered from depression before going on a string of loan moves He was bought by Hull recently. This will likely be make or break for him, in terms of deciding his future. Sander Berge needs to move to a bigger club. I don’t believe it’s bias speaking when I say he’s a genuinely great player, already. Was even complimented on his performance by Klopp, personally. I’m curious about his future.

Man Utd's been spreading that
Raiola himself reacted publicly to deny it
I don't know, BILD claims there is one for 2022
He cost 20m, if he leaves for 60m in 2 1/2 years and scores a goal every 10 minutes in the meantime it's not the worst business tbh
of course, as opposed to BVB, Man United do not want to be a 'stepping stone' club

Re: Erling Haaland
Don't rate the Bundesliga. so I won't rate him at all until he performs consistently in the CL or moves.
Bundesfodder is a league withe Choupo-Moting and Diouf dominated. It's comparable to the championship.

I only watched some of RB Salzburg’s CL matches, but didn’t he score in the majority of them?

2nd top scorer so far behind Lewandowski.
Firenze's just venting. They just signed Ighalo, give him a break.

Both Dolph Lundgren and Erling Haaland happen to have German ancestry. Dolph through his mom, Erling through his dad. I don’t know if that’s relevant in regard to their appearance, but I remembered watching an interview of Dolph where he mentioned that his mom was German and English.

Neither Choupo Moting nor Diouf ever 'dominated' in Bundesliga lol
In reality, most of the times it's rather strikers who were deemed mediocre or ok in Bundesliga suddenly do shine in PL
Firmino comes to mind

PSG better watch out
With Haaland in such blistering form and with the addition of Germany's elite CM maestro, the CL tie is looking like a real game now
