City and Liverpool don't need him, Chelsea can't sign anyone, Arsenal are skint and United don't want to make another expensive mistake after Sanchez.

They have to reinforce defence as first thing and Alderweireld was their old target.
But evidently they changed opinion on him and perhaps age makes difference.

Maguire's alright, but I don't expect a Van Dijk-like impact. He's more one-footed, which limits his passing, so he relies more on dribbling it out. Now as quick and can be clumsy. Leicester will be very happy with the fee they're getting.
