Jurgen Klopp could be signing Liverpool's new Xabi Alonso should a deal for Dani Ceballos be completed.

talkSPORT have reported on the Reds' interest in Ceballos, with Liverpool battling Spurs and Arsenal for his signature.

And Marca say the Real Madrid ace could become Klopp's own Alonso as he will add class to Liverpool's midfield.

It is expected Ceballos will cost around £45million to sign this summ

He doesn’t want to be sold for two reasons. One, he has issues with current agent and secondly he wants to play and believes he can make RM later, presumably post Zidane. He will accept a sale with backup. Club has told him they will not decline a solid offer. Meanwhile club feels he may develop to be worth more.

By the way, he is quite different in style, play, role than Xabi but he is in deed talented if any of you watch U21, you’ll know the talent is there.

From EPL clubs point of view Arsenal don’t like the idea of buyback or loan, Liverpool will insist on outright sale and Spurs are content with sale and buyback. Sounds like a Spurs move to me!

Yes, we will likely move on from ZZ in 3 seasons at most and Raul taking over. Ceballos just needs to be patient

I'd pass

One year ago i'd take him because we lacked talent at this position but now Ronaldo, Dybala, Kean is sufficient. Rather spend that money on a young midfielder than Icardi.

The fact that even a manager who rules with an iron fist like Conte deems him damaged beyond repair speaks volume of how far Icardi has fallen.

It's a shame really because talent-wise, the guy is one of the best there is. Just the perfect example of a talented player ruining themselves through unprofessionalism and delusion of grandeur. And the fact that he has an idiot for an agent didn't help either.

I have always thought that he came to Madrid at the wrong time. The talent is there, but he needs the proper guidance to further hone his skills and become consistent.

He's certainly better than all the guys you mentioned, but it remains to be seen whether your new manager will be able to get the best out of him.
