Re: UEFA Champions League QF 18/19: Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester City
The reason Neuer was regarded as a world class goalkeeper was because he was a monster in goal. The ball playing skills and sweeper keeper stuff came later, and were more of a bonus. His reputation had always been his amazing shot keeping and handling.
Whereas with Ederson I think he is not even top 10 in EPL when it comes to...you know...goalkeeping stuff.

For all the mistakes Lloris made half of his other saves were just as good and I know that is not the metric to measure the goalkeeper as Lloris for me has truly turned out to literally be a dollar store Casillas but tonight he should win some praise regardless.

Ederson is pretty meh, and along with Pep's cowardice and Laporte being even worse, one of the main reasons why they're out.

Today, Spurs are the luckiest team in the world. A decades worth of karma screwing them catching up with them today.

Ederson, its probably due to Peps influence again, they focus too much of the other stuff he has to do and perhaps loses focus on the main GK responsibilities?

It seems a lot of ppl hate Pep and MAn C also
I felt strange since I support them for the EPL, but was siding with Spurs since much more confident we would beat them if we meet in the final
City are a better collective than Tottenham, but somehow, I think both Pep and Aguero would just bend over if the final had been between them and Barca.

I got out of school in time to watch the last 10 minutes in my car. After the aguero goal, I shut off my phone and drove 25 mins back home
Only to find it didn't count. What a turn of events. Wish I could have watched the game

That is surely not it.
Also, Ederson is a still very, very good GK all things considered.

Wait, how was Spurs lucky and more importantly, you're just gonna ignore their underachieving, choking and Spurs-esque planning pre Poch?

You truly missed the game I feel only comes once in a lifetime as a Spurs supporter, CB. Never have I witnessed them be this fortuitous in such circumstances and such a stage and a thoroughly deserved win for them.
I am not one for highlights but for you as a fan a full 90 would be recommended. Game of the year.

Var ruling out a goal that was inches offside
Llorente scored with his bum
They were lucky today. No shame about it. Every champion team needs luck on their side in these types of games. But if I were a city fan I'd be sooooo pissed

Llorente scored with his hip and reached the position to score it. Calling that luck is a stretch especially when Spurs were rightfully sent through into the semis as a result of some ground-breaking character despite all the odds against them.

Scoring with your bum is a skill only true false 9s can accomplish tbh.
