Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
the fact that he has opted to leave the Emirates Stadium for Turin has shocked Adams, who told Sky Sports:
https://twitter.com/SkySportsPL/status/1103331393218793474
To be honest, Adams is kind of right.
Tony Adams wrote:"Well it's a different game and it's a different club to the one that I left in 2002. We would be challenging. The Juventus players would be signing for us.
"Aaron Ramsey is too good to let go, and to not be an Arsenal player for ever.
"To be fair, why would you go to Juventus anyway? They're a smaller club than Arsenal.
"That's the way I've always felt about the Arsenal. But other people think differently - maybe he thinks Cardiff's bigger."

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
What Arsenal has done in Europe since 2006 ? Yeah that's what i thought.....
And also, in their country Arsenal barely has relevance nowadays, while Juve is on top of Italy and remains there for a whole decade. So unless we want to make the pointless Serie A vs BPL debate again, i don't see what arguments this guy got.
Anyway, nice troll thread, that was my serious answer.

This part here makes the Arsenal is bigger than Jjuve make sense. It's what he believes. Obviously he is wrong but the man believes it to be different lol.

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
What Adams means only amplifies what is true, that Arsenal are a bigger club.
Adams has the right to say it aside from his illustrious career but a short but explosive stint as manager in Portsmouth, a highly successful and brave move to that Azerbaijani club and his highly misunderstood tenure at Granada.
No ways about it.

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
Juventus reached 5 CL finals and won 2 of them during his time with Arsenal, the best he did was a quarterfinal appearance near the end of his career Juventus had actual global superstars who won the Ballon d'Or ( Zidane, Baggio, Platini), Arsenal had pub players that no one outside England knew about. Your club's biggest legend is a Juventus flop ffs.
This clown is making me say nice things about rubentus.

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
In 2002 which is what his point was he's probably right, when he retired not many players would have left Arsenal for Juve.
Dunno why he's bringing it up now though, considering Juventus are one of the best teams in Europe and Arsenal are just kind of meh.

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
Explanation is that Tony Adam's Arsenal faced Torino in the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1994 Quarterfinals in which Arsenal edged through 1-0 in the 2nd leg.
Tony Adams was forever a Torino fan after that greuling brawl.
"I would like to announce that I am forever a Granata (Torino fan) and one day will associate the closest I can to the club in anyway"
And why he was inspired to coach club Granada

Re: Tony Adams:"Juventus a smaller club than Arsenal"
i think sometimes people mistake a great team for a big club. juve have a far far better team than arsenal but arsenal as a club probs make more money and are a bigger global brand than juve. i could be wrong but i think thats what adams was meaning. but its a dumb thing to say anyway because ramsey will make millions at juve anyway but will also win trophies.

I would say he’s just being an Arsenal guy, but he probably really thinks that about other PL teams as well.

Can already see the Twitter Juventini seething at this to prove otherwise in their usual tourettes fury.
Why be mad over something that is true? Denial is just insanity by this point.

The fact that Arsenal plays in the PL automatically makes them bigger. And bringing up Jjuve winning Serie A is like bragging you beat the bots in a DOTA match.
