Re: Real Betis v Real Madrid
The only players solari has a problem with is isco and asensio both have been bad.

The broadcasters really should be legally bound to show replays that confirm the decisions made through VAR. Otherwise, it allows more room for corruption/bribed referrees.

He was offside by a tiny margin but offside he was. I would have understood if the call couldn't be made in real time but that's what VAR is for. Spain, with VAR, still shits up decisions.

Would've liketo have seen the angle the linesman saw to fully confirm. Looked marginally onside imo. Believe Carvajal played him on

I expect Isco to ask for his transfer papers after this game. Why wait for the summer. Best to go now!!!

Valverde and reguillion has a lot of upside hope they continue to get minutes, casemiro gonna lose out to llorente if he doesn't wake up maybe he is still unfit? Anyway good to get a tough win and defending for 90 mins.

Agreed, this is beyond ridiculous now. Sell him now, let the man continue his career somewhere else because, regardless of what some of you may or may not think, that man is way too talented to be on a bench.
Ffs, Diaz got played before him.

because Diaz is faster and more dangerous winger 1v1, it's that simple.Doc wrote:futbol_bill wrote:I expect Isco to ask for his transfer papers after this game. Why wait for the summer. Best to go now!!!

I guess Ceballos was a faster and more dangerous winger as well. Don't give me that Nick, Isco is straight up being ignored and it's hilarious.

Vinicius is very talented and raw but let's be honest he taking a lot of bad shots which wouldn't be bad if he was hitting them with conviction, should look to pass more and stop being predictable he has the pace to run into channels after a quick exchange of passes, he can be a lot better if he can keep it simple he know how to make proper runs already.

Re: Real Betis v Real Madrid
i would rather isco go in the summer. big teams are keen to reinforce then, as he wouldn't be cup tied, as a result we can get more money for him to be used for our own squad revamp. i don't see too many teams (with money) being that desperate to sign him in the winter
and if we do get a good offer for him this month, i would rather we chill on it , and wait till summer, when quality players are available, for us to use it. my thought process is save as much time and resources to end this era and start a revolution next summer

No but Ceballos defends more than Isco, covers more ground, which is another aspect that is important for SolariDoc wrote:I guess Ceballos was a faster and more dangerous winger as well. Don't give me that Nick, Isco is straight up being ignored and it's hilarious.

Swear you guys are doing this on purpose what is isco doing that makes him so much better, like honestly what he is slow, slow to pass and positioning is bad it's on display everytime he plays, can't see why isco being on the bench is so surprising?

Considering Ceballos has played winger his entire life and is faster than Isco, I don't see how it's wrong. Nick might be dishonest, but he's technically right on that point.

Injuries, injury at the half, different formation, if the team loses with isco it's solari fault, win without him who cares nitpick it... poor isco, again good solid win.

Re: Real Betis v Real Madrid
The Isco debate needs to end at some point. It's been established that he doesnt fit Solari's idea of a midfielder or winger. He is not gonna play with Solari as a coach, it's done.
Now, he needs to decide what's best for him

Re: Real Betis v Real Madrid
Can't wait until isco leaves he is gonna get a reality check, but if he stays to ride the bench for another season cause he ain't good enough, that gonna be what 6 managers benching him or 7? It's not like the only manager who really stuck with isco as a IMPORTANT PLAYER didn't get fired 3 months into the seaso.... Oh wait that did happen and again no isco a win shocker.

Can't wait for Isco to join City and destroy premier league.
after selling Robben and Sneijder this will be third in our most stupid sells list.

It would be stupid in a sense he has a lot of quality Solari isn't utilising but Madrid would be fine. He is my fav Madrid player currently but he is replaceable.

Re: Real Betis v Real Madrid
Another reason why he is struggling imo is the weakness of our midfield this season. He was playing much better in previous years because i thinkthe guys supporting him from behind were also much better. But this season, there is a sense that if one guy is not carrying his weight defensively or tactically, we will sink.Doc wrote:It would be stupid in a sense he has a lot of quality Solari isn't utilising but Madrid would be fine.
