Lebron declined a long time ago lol, it's just less obvious smaller, subtle declines than most.

He's nowhere close to the player he was when he won his first two championships in Miami.

But in terms of impact on winning games. What he did last season at Cleveland was amazing (again). Also his numbers haven't declined at any point. Could it be time for that? And we'll see if he's as good a fit at the Lakers as he was at the Cavs.

Oh no i agree, just saying this isn't the highest point of his career.

To use an example to me Messi's ultimate peak was like 2012, he's still amazing obviously but he's not as good as he was.

Same with Lebron.

Anyway i've now watched this first half, unless something significantly changes in the 3rd or 4th quarter Freeza has some serious homer glasses on tbh.

There's barely a single call made on either side which is even questionable. The refs have done a good job so far tbh.

Some of the fouls Rockets were getting kept me up tonight.

i can name on one hand calls which are questionable in this game and that goes for both sides.

Barely any of the fouls they are getting are even debatable, the main one that i'm questioning right now was the and one Gordon got on Kuzma but that aside there's barely any calls which are incorrect.

The West is also 2.5 times more difficult than the East so factor that in when you consider LeBron’s form.

For me, he’s still one of the most dominant players in the league along with AD and KD (and Kawhi this season).

Also, remember in the east, that the cavs last season, on LeBron playing every game, still we’re a poor team with an average record.

Between the youth on the Lakers, the new signings and the strength of the west, it’s an extremely uphill battle right now but I think they’ll pull through.

Ok that Hart " foul" on Harden is BS, but i stand by what i said. For the majority of this game there's really nothing wrong with any of the calls made before the fight.

Except you weren't lol, Houston were searching for contact almost every time down. I barely remember any times where you were and even in the rare occasions you did the driver would usually pass it out for a 3.

The only one i really question was the basket Ingram had which should have been and 1 tbh. Seriously there's barely any calls on either side which should have been called and wasn't or vice versa.

There's like a handful at best and all of them are questionable. Houston got more free throws because they were searching for the contact and because LA made some dumb AF plays.

Seriously the amount of calls Houston got because one of your players made a stupid play was unreal, Houston barely fouled at the rim at all.

He didn't rip through though, well except the one in the first quarter which was also BS tbh. Honestly i feel like your searching for fouls which weren't there lol. Genuinely didn't see many calls at all which were flat out wrong.

If i had to question something, i didn't like the freedom of movement BS but that's not really the refs fault.

Anyone notice the huge amount of points per game this season so far? I like it a lot but there’s always going to be the hipsters who prefer 80-81 scorelines.

Only time a low scoring affair is entertaining is if two teams are going at each other hard on defense, with tensions high and tempers flaring left, right and centre

It's the 14 second rule combined with pace.

Don't think it's that much different than other years when looking at offensive ratings.

I like it. Hate slow ball hogging iso stuff. I've seen enough that for a lifetime.

I don't really care is it a high or low scoring game if it is competitive, close. If it's not a Bulls game or otherwise interesting for whatever reason and half-time or 3rd quarter points difference is 15+, I'm done with that game.

Tbh I think it's fine but I would like to see the freedom of movement stuff dailed back a bit.

It's not even giving defences a chance lol, would like to see a bit more balance in the calling of the rule.
