Shaw was probably worth keeping.

Maybe. Just kinda ridiculous how the entire thing's unfolded. I hope he keeps up his form and doesn't become a lazy POS.

190K? That can't be true Walker and Mendy are like earning 180K combined a week Laughing

Shaw is worth keeping imo really good fullback but not at that price.

It can, just check United's wage bill Laughing
Only Barcelona has a higher wage bill than United and that's probably because of Messi's wage. Sanchez is earning 500,000£ per week Laughing

Moreno won't sign new #lfc contract, and will move on a free in the summer. Arsenal boss Unai Emery is interested, after working with him in Sevilla.

They already have the right back version of Moreno. Imagine them defending with both Bellerin and Moreno. Laughing

£160,000-a-week seems cracy. But they did need him to sign a contract or risk losing him in January.

Signing a replacement (possibly better) would cost £50m plus similar wages.

And Man United would recoup nothing from the sell of Shaw by leaving for free.

it’s not £160k. It’s £195k per week. He gets just £5k per week less than salah

I am not sure about dismantling but Jose can find some tactical answers to Sarri's team. I would not be surprised if Chelsea lose first EPL game of the season today

This trend is really dangerous btw. I know Utd make huge revenues and profits, as far as I remember but if other clubs try to match these wages, surely one or the other day it is going to go wrong. Surely not sustainable on a long term.

That is why I am impressed with Madrid's strategy that they have won so much during last few seasons and still managed it financially so well.

Tbh, I might need to revise my pre-season prediction that Chelsea would take time to adjust under Sarri.

They look like they're going to be just fine.

Sarri really is an amazing coach. Pep level, while being much more personally likeable.
