Liverpool still unbeaten though while playing incredibly average. That's what champions are made of, generally.

No excuses.

Considering the trend, you are 5 points from 14th imo.

Agreed that foul on Aguero is exactly what I hope to see my CB doing in the penalty area during a big game.

Doesn't matter lol.

That's like saying a goalkeeper who played well made a mistake which led to a goal so it's ok.

Don't think anyone shone in the match. Everyone were pretty much on the same level. There were some really bad performances though. Liverpool front 3 were terrible and Keita. Mahrez was shit along with David Silva and Fernandinho.

Not sure who got MOTM?

Bernardo and Laporte were probably the only decent players.

well all top 3 teams have not lost a single game till now. We are the worst of that lot unless Klopp sorts out the creativity and drive from midfield Laughing

Liverpool and Man City, supposedly Prem's two most exciting teams, play out one of the most boring games of the season.

Gotta be happy with the point after Mahrez's penalty miss. What a stupid tackle by Virgil that was, the angle to shoot was already small, just block the shot.

If Salah doesn't improve he's going to end up competing for the most regressed player of the season award.

Lovren was great. GTFO

Once again we have 0 creativity from midfield, we are really missing Ox. I thought Keita was supposed to play that role but he doesn't play like he did at Salzburg so far. Should have signed Fekir or anyone creative in the end imo. We are missing a player lìke Ox + last season's form from our front 3.

In the end I'm happy with a draw, that was a boring game.

I have to admit that Lovren was good today, but that said, I've seen him make so many mistakes in a Liverpool shirt that it takes more than one good game to stop me from expecting calamities from him.

Pool haven't been playing well being on top of the league while playing Spurs (away), Chelsea (away) and City (home) , also playing PSG (home) and Napoli (away) in the CL, as well as Chelsea (home) in CC isn't too bad tbh.

He has been great in every game he played in a Liverpool or Croatia shirt over the past year. I think Van Dijk really suits him as a CB partner because he has so much confidence since he started playing with him.

The defence is the least of our worries, statistically we have the best defence in the league for over a year now, what's worrying is our front 3's form and lack of a creative player in midfield.

wow the title race in England looks very exciting this year. Three teams level on 20 points at the top, followed by two teams with 16 points.

Also, I'm quite surprised that Arsenal are up there. I have been hearing  a lot of criticism from their fans against Emery, so I really didn't think they were ranked that high in the table. Must be his playing style that was raising a lot of questions, not his results.

we have a very good position in the table, only worry is that we have issues that do not seem to be going away anytime soon and Klopp needs to work on that during this break. Only tactics of "high pressing from midfield 3 and pass the ball to the front 3" will not work in the long term and we have already seen glimpses of that.

for me there is a difference between having a monster/great game or good game. I would say he had a good game but not great specially the foul on Auguero and then hand on Jesus. Everytime he is in a similar situation, it seems like a calamity mistake is just moment away.

That gabriel "hand" was busquets level of diving man Laughing
The one with aguero happened so quickly , first it was fullback's fault he made a mistake and gave a shit pass to aguero where lovren was left to defend open aguero 3 meters from goal. That tackle on Mahrez or Jesus when he was 1 on 1 being driven at was immense. Made many crucial tackles today and was great in the air.

Newcastle have played City and United away and Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea in their first eight tbf Laughing I'm sure they'll start picking up points again when they get a run against weaker sides.

Salah has bought into his own hype

Going to be a wretched season for him

Also Man United can forget about finishing top 4 this season

Better to finish 3rd in CL groups and aim for EL again which seems to be their ceiling these days.
