Wtf is this, I just learnt that Bolasie is on a season-long loan at Aston Villa, in the Championship. Did he have falling out at Everton or why is he there? Surely he's way too good to be loaned out from Everton.

That's like we would loan out Oxlade to the Championship next season.

Okay, if he's shot to pieces, fair enough, but if he's fit to play it just seems weird to me they'd let him go like that.

Hmm. I'm surprised too. Bolasie definitely has enough quality to play in Premier League for a decent team.

He's not that good, guys. He showed up against Liverpool and was wildly inconsistent in every other game he played.

His game relied on explosiveness and for all we know his injury has hindered that a lot.

They let him go to make room for Richarlison and Walcott, both superior players.

Bolasie goddamn, some scrubs only turn up against us.

Monster every time we've played him but never seen him light it up against solid teams.

Zaha is world class even though GL hates me for saying this since a few years now.

and before you say we've had easier competition - only PL team to have faced a reigning league champion. :coffee:

Pool don't count, France isn't a league tbh. It's the PSG invitational

I think majority of PL fans are happy with tonight's results tbh

Liverpool are the most hated or joint most hated in england and no one really likes spurs.

good results imo

seems like after this weekend, the EPL race will start getting clearer as we have important games coming up where teams from last season's top 6-7 will face each other at least once in next 3-4 matchdays.
All the hyped and pseudo title challengers will slowly fall out of the race Proud

Liverpool-City this weekend.

If Liverpool play like they did against Napoli, City has a good chance of finally winning at Anfield for the first time since 2003.

Liverpool's biggest miss this season is Oxlade-Chamberlain. One of best players in our CL run last season.
There is no that driving force from midfield that will pick up the ball and run with it, and connect midfield with attack. He was the only midfielder that started all 3 games that we won vs City last season. His directness with the ball was key in all 3 games vs City last season so I don't have my hopes too high for that match, and he scored 2 bangers against them in those games. Without Ox's aggression and drive in midfield and his linking with front 3 I don't think we will be able to beat City.

I thought Keita was supposed to play Ox's role based on what he played in Salzburg but he hasn't been a starter in most games so far, he started against Napoli and got injured. I think he might be ready for the weekend though.

City won't win there. This is a game where Liverpool can get their stride back.

The thing is we're in such a shitty moment to play City...

Our front 3 is out of form and Klopp won't drop them for Sturridge and Shaqiri. Our midfield is now worrying too because Fabinho and Keita are still adapting, Ox is injured, Milner and Gini tired(they looked really tired against Napoli, they gonna play 4 games in 2 weeks if they start vs City because Klopp doesn't rotate now), Hendo out of form.

Arnold is in shocking form this season and is leaving holes in defence but Klopp won't drop him for Clyne.

This is a perfect moment for City to play against us and get a result. This would be a good moment for Liverpool to play a team like Cardiff or Huddersfield but not City.

The only players that can keep us in this match are Alisson, Van Dijk and Gomez. If we get a draw I'll be happy.

Hazard: "Virgil van Dijk since last year is one of the best in the world for sure. To play against him last Saturday, I can tell he is one of the best."

Hazard, how am I supposed to hate you if you keep being so likeable? confused

Bernard has been brilliant for Everton whenever he's played so far. Richarlison continuing to prove his worth, 3 goals in 5 games so far in the PL.

Already 2-0 for Newcastle. Might be the best day of the week for me, even though yesterday was my birthday. Mou must be sacked.
