With all the respect to Newcastle, let's not forget who we faced today. Ok? We struggled at home having one of the most expensive squads in the world to get 3 points today. And Newcastle literally panicked when all our players started to run for the first time. I'm sure you'll agree with me that it was funny to see how disorganized we were, how many poor runs we've had even after Mata's goal and at the same time the Newcastle players reacted like they were constantly pressed by City even though it wasn't necessary. It was total chaos. A decent team would've probably killed the game in those moments with a third goal.
Tbh, I enjoyed the game, happy with the win, but still sad about the whole situation that's going on at the club. Jokes aside, we're lost.

First reactions from Mourinho, trying to win the fans completely.
"It is not the substitutions, it is the mentality, desire and commitment. As I used to say, nobody is important, only the club is important"
"This is not about me, this is not about the players, this is about the club and in the second half the players gave absolutely everything and had nothing more to give."

The players looked like they give a lot of shit in the 2nd half. You played great attacking football in the 2nd half. Mourinho made great subs and dragged you back to win the game off 2 huge mistakes from bailly. Your CBs are just dreadful, he asked for a CB in the summer, what do you expect him to do with such defenders? Bailly is on the level of Serbian league, I'd take him at FK Zemun tbh.

Didn't watch the game, but this is in a nutshell why I don't rate Rafa that high. 20 minutes away from getting a great result, ends up leaving with nothing.

It looked like the players are still fighting for Mourinho, they gave 100% to reach that comeback after 2 stupid mistakes by Bailly.
So, to unleash Pogba all Mourinho had to do was play him at CB? What an immense 2nd half from Pogba, I wasn't expecting that. Pogba was MOTM imo. I also didn't expect that Martial and Sanchez would turn up.

Sorry but Firenze keeps hyping ManUtd players as one of the best in the league or top 5 in Europe and all turn out to be shit in the long term

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
don't want to hear how this was a tactical masterclass from Mou. Maybe he gave a rousing speech at HT, Newcastle still bottled big chances even after we equalized. More like Rafa bottled the game IMO
it's still very much MOU out but I'd take Woodward out too (never happening)
this has def bought Mou some more time unfortunately

not sure if I read or heard correctly but under Woodward you club has prospered off the pitch and has made immense profit even after you spend so much in wages and fees on players. I guess it is just about football management that is going wrong atm.

When you have Bailly as your CB you can be sure to ship in 2 goals per match because of his mistakes. That's why I don't criticize Mourinho that much, how he managed to drag some of these players to 2nd place is beyond me.

he did it because the rest were poor last season. they came 2nd for the same reason that LC won the title.BusterLfc wrote:Unique wrote:who remembers when frenzy said bailly was one of the best CB in the world
