Which two teams will progress ?
Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group H
That second half gave me a heart attack. So many misplaced passes.
Cancelo took all the good will he had earned so far and threw it all out the window. Far too many unforced errors passing straight to United players. Disastrous second half from him.
Weirdly enough it was Sandro who was the amazing fullback this time.
Anyway good match. Winning away in the CL at Manchester when the team is so unfit is nice. For a match like this Mandzukic and Can would have been perfect.

It looked like Juve accepted the 1-0 and took a risk-free approach to the 2nd half. Peak Allegri, but it works.
United looked like they were improving, but Juve had them at arm's reach the whole time. Don't think United carried a genuine threat all game.

I'll never forget 2016
Celebrating Pogba signing like winning a world cup lol
This has been long overdue
Hopefully we could whoop that red devil ass all over Turin and bring this feud to a closure
Man United are not even our competition ffs. Time to move on to bigger and better things.
Also two minutes silence to the guy who said Man United would beat us home and away. No it's not Frenzy.

In general yes but it was a bit too sloppy at times in the second half. The standard for these players is higher. Pjanic and Cancelo were making mistakes that can be fatal against a better team.

When's the last time we started 3-0 in the Champions League brother?
Combine that with an away win to Valencia despite being a man short for 60 minutes and an away win to Manchester United ffs
Also, Bonucci and Chiellini were fantastic today. They dealt with just about everything. Alex Sandro has quietly been great all season.
I'm a fan of Cancelo but he can be a numpty at times, going forward he can make some poor choices and defensively, he can be a liability.
I also will maintain that Bernardeschi will forever be a better option that Cuadrado, but hey, we got the job done and Cuadrado was not poor.

He's done it again! Jose Mourinho holds up three fingers to the Juventus fans signifying winning the treble with Inter Milan.

Nah. He should have made changes. Lukaku was horrific. Matic too.
Put Fred on. Make some changes to the frontline tactically.
To beat us the opponent must take control of the midfield and play quick on the wings
Certainly someone with high workrates such as Fred would have helped. But i guess studying the play of Juve and adjust to it was asking too much from Mourinho the dogmatic man.

Yeah that's why I'm not subscribing to a narrative that we were much improved second half. Allegri did Allegri things. The Pogba shot was a hit and hope that almost came off, besides that, completely non-threatening. I think Juve just realized we had nothing for them in the final third and were content.
Sadly it'll fool a lot of people and buy Mourinho a bit of sympathy. Team are clueless.
Lukaku put in a performance that may have been one of the worst I've ever seen complete waste of a shirt.

Can't say I remember. It's great to cruise in the CL like this. The team is mature and awesome.
Agreed on the CBs and Alex, they were a rock. I'm also a (new) fan of Cancelo but goddamn he was sloppy today.
Bernardeschi is better in general but Cuadrado has characteristics that help a ton in some situations. He is huge for our possession game, with him we always control the ball and create chances, the problem is that he makes a lot of wrong decisions for the final ball. Bernardeschi is way more effective but also more direct. Cuadrado can bring control to the match and is always good to draw a foul with his trickery to give the team breathing room when needed.

Rio Ferdinand says it was 'men against boys' If you were having to describe this game short and sharp it’s men against boys. There was a huge difference between the sides on quality on the ball they were bossed today. Juventus were far superior, in every department. They were well-deserved winners.

Mourinho is not missing any opportunity to further the intrigue vs his CEO and remind everyone how he wasn't granted an experienced CB in summer. His whole post match interview was praising Juve's Cbs

MU has to hope for results against Valencia to make it through. Doubtful they can win or draw in Turin.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group H
The team is a mess of injuries and tiredness right now. Too many got injured leading to overplaying the same players too much and now we have no midfield.
Matuidi is reportedly out of the game. Can is a long term absence. Khedira is trying to make it back, not sure yet. Only Pjanic and Bentancur are fit.
Mandzukic is likely to miss it, Bernardeschi and Costa are doubts, probably for the bench.
I'd guess a back 3 or a 4-4-2 with Alex as a winger.

Actually laughed at the aggregate score in brackets.
Can’t imagine you scoring 3 goals in Torino, unlesss the score is 12-3 in favour of Juventus (13-3 aggregate)

Juventus (4-3-3): Szczesny; De Sciglio, Bonucci, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic, Bentancur; Cuadrado, Dybala, Ronaldo
Bernardeschi and Costa didn't make it. Mandzukic, Matuidi, and Cancelo likely on the bench.

Khedira's first match in who knows how long and Bentancur. United should just press our midfield hard and they should control the game.
