Re: Ligue 1 18/19
He has 4... but should have had 7 (Mbappe). he missed 3 1v1s before scoring 1 lol.
He may get 5 or 6 in this one.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
League is dead 5-0 PSG over Lyon. 4 goals by Mbappe and the other one was a PK on him. Should have had 7 goals as I mentioned. Basically stopped playing the last 20 mins or it would have been a lot more.
No idea how Lyon beat City in Manchester.
Fekir sprained his ankle. Nbombele and Aouar were non-existent. Kimpembe got a red card. Lyon numpty CB got a red card too.
Disappointing game if I'm honest.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
Doc's Ligue 1 watch: "Lyon sucks" Edition
So after Madrid gave me a depression I never thought was possible and Utd restored some semblance of positive vibes, I made the horror decision of watching PSG vs Lyon because, I don't know, some ass hat of a Frenchman here told me I should totally watch more Ligue 1. Not gonna call any names but he is an asshat of the highest order.
Anyway, Lopez is such a dope for giving away that PK, like one big dope and somehow, Lyon couldn't even find a way to even look dangerous while up a man. I don't get it, they were getting into serious form and they dropped this rotten egg of a display. Sigh, I'm really upset Lyon couldn't do anything. Couldn't even capitalise on a stupid mistake PSG's defenders did with some weird passing in the back. Oddly enough, on that same play, Mbappe ended up hitting the post on the other end.
Um, Mbappe and Neymar, despite what Pool fans may think or not think, is still pretty fking awesome and I really still think Cavani is just there as they can both survive and thrive without him. Also, even after missing a week of Ligue 1 action, my views on PSG pretty much still exists: World class forward line that is masking a serious fragility in midfield and defense particularly the full back positions.
As for Lyon, hope they get relegated.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
It's poor year Doc. I'd stick to watching PSG v OM, PSG v Lyon (at Lyon) and OM v Lyon. The rest of the league is in the dumps, especially with Monaco being shit.
Lyon really depends so much on Fekir to coordinate their attack. Never realized this until this season. They look lost without him and good when he's there. His early injury really impacted things.
Didn't realize Traore is such a headless chicken.

I'll add that Real Madrid games aren't any better this season unfortunately... at least there are goals here lol.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
I hope PSG win all their games, lulz.
Monaco have got a mountain of cash from sales in the last couple of summers but has the owner pocketed the money? Doesn't look like they've bought any decent players with it and are now in the relegation zone, lulz again.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
Not that. A ton of injuries. They spent 128 euros this summer and 124 mil euros in the previous transfer window. Player like Golovin, Chadli, Tielemans, Jovetic, Pellegri... and a ton of really talented kids, which is their trademark.
The problem this year is that the kids seem a year away from contributing and, other than Tielemans, everyone they bought the last 2 seasons is currently injured.
They won't get relegated. But they need to get guys healthy in order to even get a Europa spot.

Diaby is the next little potential star imo. He's younger than Mbappe lol.

Re: Ligue 1 18/19
At least Lyon won yesterday, that was a decent match. Hopefully Marseille can cheer me up with their ridiculous way of either being legit good or the purest form of cancer. Don't care too much about PSG, they won the league in August tbh.

Strasbourg v Monaco, not exactly an eye catching match but why not. Henry managing is actually pretty good of him instead of staying safe as a pundit.

Actually Tuchel lost his mind with his setup and team selection... so I'm far more optimistic...
