Again.... France are taking this. Absolutely no midfield and Brazil was incredibly clumsy in front of goal.

Have Brasil ever had a striker at a World Cup who's started all their games and not scored a goal?

In a world in which strikers don't need to score goals.. sure.

Hazards fitness is amazing, hes so vital in keeping the ball at least and countering...
So happy to see this team wiht potential finally perform and knocked out the favourites, now they are the favourites with France.

France was viewed in the early 80's the same way Belgium is viewed today.
Spain was considered a big joke until their golden generation in 2008.
Maybe you're just witnessing Belgium becoming a " big team " .
i cant understand how these shit teams improve and become big teams
Yes, you dum dum before 1982 France hadn't made it past the group stage in 24 years. We also had 0 finals and failed to qualify to every single Euro since the very first one.
We were actually more irrelevant than Belgium are now.

Re: WC 2018 QFs - Brazil vs Belgium
Thought Brazil were really unlucky tbh
Kind of expecting France to beat Belgium tbh but at least they give themselves a chance by not playing De Bruyne alongside Witsel in front of a back 3.

Despite losing Brazil played brilliant (compared to Argentina). No back passes no side passes, great understanding and great players everywhere. fk you sampaoli, even iran had better team than you

France absolutely should beat this team. Brasil should have scored more than 1 goal as well.

Re: WC 2018 QFs - Brazil vs Belgium
This game showed the best and the worst of martinez lol.
Guy set up his team to destroy Brazil. First half they should have ended it. But then he literally lost the plot and had no idea what to do till the 85th minute.
Fellaini was incredible but Hazard MOTM by far.
And about Brazil. This generation (starting from 2014) is arguably one of their worst ever.

Even in the first half they were incredibly lucky, Brazil should have scored multiple times.
Never seen such wasteful play over 90 minutes in my life.

The last team to beat Roberto Martinez in a competitive game was... Sunderland.
Fair play. He's doing a good job with this team despite nobody thinking he can. It's not always straightforward but he's got their attackers firing and that's getting them through.

Really? I would have given Conetois or KDB motm but Hazard, in those last 10 minutes, played a smart game. Having a nice WC, no more casper games for him.

European teams are well organized and their defense are best. south americans are best in attack. but in the end defense and parked busses wins. like pele said "defense wins cups"

Hazard was really good IMO, De Bruyne obviously more impactful with the goal but Hazard had some really nice dribbling and created a lot of chances.
Probably the most involved Belgium player IMO, also shout out to Lukaku on De Bruyne's goal with a fantastic run.

Last WC they had Fred starting up top and now Jesus, it's like they're producing only street footballers with fancy tricks and no goalscorers.

Lol no. The best attacking team is France.
Best team at parking the bus was probably Uruguay. Maybe Sweden can compete.
