I said it during the game against Atalanta, but especially after watching him today him overplaying is a massive problem.

I think he's fine as a false 9, but he needs a coach who can get him to simplify his game rather than complicate it. This entire tournament there were so many times he felt the need to take 20 touches when he should've taken one or two and kept the game going.

He's great against lesser opponents... really is.  He can do his tricks and dribbles because he has space.  Every time PSG face an elite team, he overplays and can't make an impact.  It's not something new.

Great player and talent.  But I really don't think Tuchel is doing him a service by allowing him to play with so much freedom.  There has to be limits; not many of course. But he can't play like a clown like that.

The 2nd half today was an absolute shambles by Neymar.

As for Nerman there is not much looking into this match given it is difficult to take on a force like Bayern when you are mostly pinned back.


Freedom works for players like him but guile given by a manager also is needed given the task he has at hand being the sole bastion of creativity up front and scoring.

What a curse for football it was, if he had stayed, we all would have got to enjoy so many years and even longer era of domination of Barca Except Real fans of course.
