Midfield is working really well and Marcelo too has been excellent. The forwards though has been the issue all season and this game is no different.

That was a good first half of football. Madrid is obviously playing better but Barcelona has Lionel so there is that. Um, besides the swing and the miss, Ronaldo has been playing good, too bad he doesn't have a strike partner. Would have been nice.

Also, best match I've seen from Modric all season. Really dynamic display. Suarez would fight the wind at some point and full disclaimer: Perez paid for the sun to shine there.

The amazing thing about that goal is Barca finally exploited the fact that Kovacic is out of the game. The reason Rakitic had so much space is because Kova stayed with Messi instead of filling the hole behind the midfield press. You can even see him in the replay hesitating over whether to stay with Messi or fill the gap. He stayed with Messi, Rakitic went free, and it's 1-0.
