Since Conte our only meetings with english teams have been beating Chelsea in 12/13 and City in 15/16. Will gladly take another english team this year.

Remember when Liverpool had Paul Konchesky starting in LB and stealing a living
Almost as bad as Lingaard earning 150k a week post tax.

Genuinely I miss Newcastle in Europe, still I remind when alcoholic beverages were banned for the whole day in Milano due to Magpies invasion (for Inter Newcastle).
Insane people , real stronghold against the teetotallers lobby.
I can' t wait for new property with big money to build a Newcastle 90s-esque for Benitez

Lingard & Ox earn a combined 240K p/w between them
it's actually disgusting
guarantee there are top players at Juve earning less than half of that
PL clubs have more money than sense when you consider both of those players are squad players that rarely play 60 minutes a month and should be playing for Swansea

As much as I hate Spurs, I’m 93% sure they’ll knock out Juventus if they face each other. Aren’t Napoli leading Serie A undefeated? Lmao, same Napoli that can’t make it past the CL group stages, Juve will be easy work for them.

As much as, I hate Juve, you can't apply transitive property on football though... aren't Spurs the same team who loses against WBA at home too? So , according to aristotelic syllogism, WBA 'd fight for the UCL win...
Frankly I expect Juve to knock out Tottenham easily, and not just because they 2 finals in 3 years.. they always improve on 2nd part of season

Pretending like Roma destroying Chelsea, and Atalanta destroying Everton never happened

This was the best reading I had here in weeks. Even the most irrelevant club to ever irrelevant itself into irrelevancy that is Spurs is being talked up...by an Arsenal fan.

Small victories, look who's winning the war, Chelsea leading the table against Roma, City leading the table against Napoli.
Meanwhile the best Italian team this year ends up in EL, shows the level of the Italian teams tbh. I won't even go so far as the national team that couldn't make the World Cup while England went unbeaten

Somewhat true, only saving grace for Italy is Inter returning to the front, this great nation has been embarrased enough by these poverty clubs.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
I am really the last person to care about Serie A - EPL dispute here tbh, but remind me last best Serie A results in CL compared with EPL. So others should be embarassed tbh
All that, on paper Juve ' d enough favorite on Tottenham just because they are better, looking to team , CL experience .... why do rreally ppl underrate this factor ? Lol it is the most important thing. Juve come from 2 finals. Napoli don't have it and they pay a terribile price for it. Just looking at their players, just Reina won something in career. Spurs are the same. Typical team that can get exploit on CL group (but never predicting CL based on groups. Real CL = knock out matches since February), but I can't imagine them to knock out greater team . Or nay, rating them as favorite for it lol
I could accept City , Chelsea etc It is hard to rate Spurs over Juve "because of league" ( as if instead Spurs were walking in EPL..) .. And believe me I 'd like really to rate Spurs over Juve

Calma, We are talking about Champions League , not "WhoCares League" that noone want to play because it is tax lol
We made everything to get 7th place last year ( Zapata is my hero, and I am not trollintg, just imagine Spalletti to Milan now in place of Gattuso lol) and we really didn't care about EL. Played with Gnoukouri pls , we don't care to hype players because they score against Austria Vienna
Just remind me the last Italian team to have won Uefa Champions League
Mine was just a banter though , but last sentence here is real :

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
Ah I add I rate Premier League over Serie A ( even if it is hasn't VAR ) , but really I don't think it is enough to take Spurs beyond their level though,.
I expect to see them eliminated in Knock-out phase in February tbh
Pochettino 's European results aren't relevant on the other hand :hmmm:
United will go farther because they are United (even if I don't think they squad is better )and they have Mourinho, for example
Spurs will be always the talented team to play beautiful football, to look like best team in November but to bottle every chance of victory when it will be the moment. And it is /will be for Napoli too. Sign my words

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
Look at all the CL dropouts, EL veterans, 6th place losers barking here
Hey clowns , let's judge come February
And Arsenal fans better focus on preserving their EL status than hyping up Spurs. Sad to see what they've been reduced to.

Easy peesy imo
Any EPL team would do but i would ideally prefer United who are among the weakest
And I'm well on my way towards redemption

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
I can already see Dybala ruining Lindelo/Bayley/Smalling/Jones/Rojo/Blind
Alternatively, i can also see Martial mistake-dribble through De Sciglio, leaving him to eat dust and scoring a near-post tap in against Buffoon
