just saw rafa on tv saying there will be no signings this window and they wanted to buy players but couldent pay the fees and wages to compete with teams like Huddersfield. nice little dig by rafa but how on earth can a club like Newcastle not compete with Huddersfield

Because the owner is called Mike Ashley and refuses to allow the club to spend it's own money because he's an asshole of the highest degree.
We could easily compete with most teams outside the top 6 if we had an owner that just allowed the club to spend the money it generates.
