Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Not sure I have given any film over 9 this year. Logan probably came the closest.

Looks pretty good. Cate Blanchett is probably gonna steal the movie. Seems like a pretty original spin on the heist film.
inb4 someone says they should just make an original heist film.
Logan Lucky made no money, and it was well-reviewed, entirely original and good. Brand names are almost always necessary. Well, unless it's horror.
I just can't help think of the budget if they managed to crossover the casts

Corden.
Rihanna is not going to ruin anything imo. Corden is basically fat Jimmy Fallon. Can't stand those two. Hopefully his role is tiny.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Just watched Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot Jesus *bleep* Christ 10/10 for her alone tbh.
In all seriousness though I loved it, loved the dynamic between two separate worlds so to speak and I don't know why but I always love WW2 era films told from an alternate world for some reason.
Plus some of the shots were wonderful tbh, loved some of the camera work.
Only thing that confused me was an American guy being a British spy, don't get me wrong Chris Pine did a great job I just found it to be weird tbh.

Wasn't Chris Pine being a British spy explained? Pretty sure he said he wanted to fight in the war to save people, which he couldn't do for the Americans, since they didn't enter the war until 1917, so joined the British.
It would be weird if it was a WW2 film though, but there were probably American spies in the British intelligence during that war.

Lol no worries. It’s always hard to get every detail in these franchise movies because there’s so much in them. Most of them are required multiple views.

La La Land, Moonlight, Your Name, The Handmaiden, Hacksaw Ridge, Arrival were all elite. From blockbusters, Civil War and Deadpool were.
From this year, Blade Runner and Dunkirk so far. Out of blockbusters, Logan.

What about Manchester by the Sea? Worth seeing or nah? I've heard good things but I'm really skeptical these days when it comes to movies.

If you like slow moving character pieces without any happy endings or resolutions. Otherwise no.
Sceptical these days when it comes to movies? What does that even mean?
