Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Same as Freeza. I thought it was really good. I liked most summer movie better than it though like Big Sick, Dunkirk, Baby Driver, Spiderman Homecoming.
Feel RG overrates the trilogy overall

Watched The Big Sick and really didn't get the huge hype around it. The 9/11 joke killed me though. I just don't really find Kumail very funny at all. Holly Hunter and Ray Romano are awardworthy though. Damn they're good.
Watched Girls Trip also. Funniest movie of the year. Love a good raunch-fest. Tiffany Haddish made me cry with laughter multiple times.

Watched 28 movies since the start of September. Would call 6 of them great. A bunch of them mediocre and some awful
I have a public record of what I watch. It isn't a mystery, bruh.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
I'm very selective with movies so end up watching great movies in theaters all the time. Don't spend money on trash like Dark Tower and avoided going to Kingsman 2 even though all my friends went.
Last bad movie I watched in a theater was Suicide Squad. Good lord that was trash.

I actually really, really liked Kingsman. Thought it was so incredibly over the top and fun. Missed more Roxy in it though.

Suicide Squad was probably the worst movie I'd ever gone to see in a cinema. I knew it wouldn't be very good, but I was not prepared for how trash it was

Peer pressure+NOTHING else was on that August+School starting soon.
I'm pretty sure thats exactly why the movie made so much money. DC were amazing with their release schedules for WW, BvS and SS.

Wind River is a damn good movie. I've enjoyed all 3 of the movies I've watched from the writer. Think this may be my favorite though.

Same here. Very selective when going out to watch. So, usually manages to avoid trash. I think the worst for me so far's been Kungfu Panda 3

Renner was great. One of the best performances I've seen in the last couple years IMO.

Wanted to watch Detroit, but it got pulled from the Cinemas in Denmark the week it was supposed to come out. Guess there wasn't enough interest in it.

Logan Lucky is classic Soderbergh.
Not his overall best, but a more than solid 4/5. All the actors are great as well. It takes a while to get going, but when it lifts off, it's nothing but fun

I think The Big Sick is a bit overrated, but still enjoyed my time watching it.
I'll tell y'all what's really worth your time though... Good Time starring my man Robert Pattinson.

@Freeza, why don't you put ratings up on Letterboxd anymore?
What did you think of Enough Said? Personally I loved it when I watched it a couple years back.
James Gandolfini the GOAT

I just said to myself I had to think about the movie first before rating. And then I forgot rating a lot because I was so busy at University. Will change once I'm more relaxed though.

Kevin Spacey coming out to spin his pedophilia is an absolute disgrace. Horrible guy.

shame because I always liked him as an actor, guess I have an excuse not to watch House of Cards now. Been slacking on the new season. Couldn't help but shake my head reading his statement.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
All of this stuff is so depressing
He's still extremely gifted as an actor and I've enjoyed his work, but this soils what I've seen of his and makes it extremely difficult to enjoy it going forward.

It happens, of course it is disgusting and disgraceful, but I guess we have to try and be more forgiving to cases such as these.

Forgiving why?
The gay community has had a huge fight to combat how they're always connected to pedophiles in some media circles. The fact that Spacey uses his homosexuality as an excuse for being a pedophile and to spin it is so god damn disgusting.
