Agreed. Madrid would finally play pleasing-to-the-eye football. I couldn't stand that.

Food for thought although we'd be left with Arteta.
Might have to flip a coin.

He also thinks Mourinho is a world-class manager and Vallejo is a world-class defender. Why are you taking him seriously? That's the question.

Re: Pep Guardiola - King of the Carabao Club
There's a slightly more chance of Zidane joining Barcelona than Pep joining Madrid. So no.
Re: Pep Guardiola - King of the Carabao Club
Pep a great manager and all that, but when his teams gets destroyed in the CL, people treat it like no big deal for some reason, his style is bit overhyped but good manager still.

Have you been living under a rock? That guy gets destroyed when he fails in the CL and solely gets the blame for it. No different to what you hear about Benz. We have like 5 topics and over 20 pages of dicussion in the last 2-3 years of him being a fraud. People don't make no big deal

1/3 and no proper CL run
To be fair it's far from over but would be funny if he'd end up with that.

1 Premier League title in 3 years + mediocre results in Europe...How is his tenure any different than Mancini or Pelle? and he spent more than both of them combined.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hopes to strengthen in 'three or four' positions
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hopes to strengthen in "three or four positions" in the summer.
The Premier League champions are in contention for a quadruple of trophies and Guardiola has often pointed to being satisfied with his squad options.
But on Friday he told reporters: "You know we are going to try for a holding midfielder and other positions we are thinking about."
Guardiola, 48, also said he was keen to strengthen at left-back.
Benjamin Mendy has endured two injury-ravaged seasons since joining City from Monaco, forcing Guardiola to use Fabian Delph, Oleksandr Zinchenko or Aymeric Laporte as makeshift options in the position.
Mendy, 24, underwent knee surgery and returned from over two months out to face Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup on 23 January but has not featured since.
He has only started 16 Premier League games for City since his move in 2017.
Guardiola said: "If it happens in two seasons, it can happen in three, definitely. Hopefully not, we'll work with that, but the truth is we could use him for a few games. That is the reality.
"I don't know what's going to happen but we are thinking about the chance to find somebody in that position.
"At the end the strongest guys, every day, are there. That is the truth. That's why we are looking for next season.
"There are three or four positions I think we have to try to look for, and some ideas we have."

CalcioMercato wrote:Interviewed live by Radio CRC, Luigi Guelpa, journalist of Il Giornale, has dropped big news on who will be the new manager for Juventus, as Max Allegri seems to be on his way out.
"I've learned that Pep Guardiola already has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for the next four years. It's the same person who told me that Ronaldo was going to Juventus," he stated.
Doubt this as it may be stemmed from a recently jaded Max Allegri.
Max Allegri who who has reached that stage of where Wenger was with Arsenal in which he doubts himself to whatever he builds up and has lost his creative juices after years of non-stop pressure and Juve's impersonal board does not help the cause and he will be seeking a one year sabbatical it has been said.
Similar to what Mourinho needs as being a manager in top flight football seems to have unimaginable pressure should you want to create the weekly formula for success and ultimately champions league.
League is won as although they are essentially out of the UCL, he will leave with a head held high but its been needed given he is struggling to further the cycle.
IF Pep joins then I cannot imagine what success he will take Juve to but in respect to City, I highly doubt it given it does not seem anywhere near the end of his cycle with his current squad.
Any Calcio insiders know?

Re: Pep Guardiola - King of the Carabao Club
I'm sorry, but you don't need any inside information to predict that Pep is obviously going to Juve or PSG or both. From the leagues he has coached in he won't coach another team so if he doesn't end his coaching career he'll take the top team from the 2 somewhat relevant remaining European leagues.

Re: Pep Guardiola - King of the Carabao Club
Gotta say with Madrid and PSG out this is his great chance to win CL with City. Bayern and Barça don't look very good and Juventus are almost out.RealGunner wrote:danyjr wrote:Pep joining another one-horse race league does not surprise me
